Evidence of a Positive Link between Consumption and Supplementation of Ascorbic Acid and Bone Mineral Density

Quite some years ago I put in my book the assertion by a doctor that Osteoporosis was scurvy of the bones. Well, seems like there was more than a grain of truth to his assertion!
