What Works?

If you ask the question, “What works?” to arrive at optimal solutions, life simplifies out rather quickly.

2 bulls in a paddock – no calves.
2 cows in a paddock – no calves.
1 bull + 1 cow in a paddock – calves.

So at least one bull and at least one cow produce calves and cause the group to grow. That works.

Sanity, balance and order produce a future.

But if what you want is the destruction of the family unit, the country, the society and civilisation, then you mess with what works to produce confusion and disorder.

~~~~~~~~~
Smaller societal units wherein each knows the other by name is productive of a feeling of belonging and inclusion. The Amish found when you get over 40 families in a group you lose a sense of connection with the other individuals in the group.
Conversationally and socially we tend to gravitate to individuals with whom we share common interests and ideals. That’s what makes it so each for the tech giant to facilitate information siloing, where we are fed a constant diet of what we have liked and little else.
It makes it possible to be totally ignorant of whole swathes of information to which you are not exposed. Like iatragenic (medically caused) deaths which are the third leading cause of death in the US. Like injuries and deaths from vaccines. Like the excess mortality rate, currently at unprecedented levels in many Covid jabbed countries.
So when you introduce a large number of immigrants into a country who do not share the same background, culture, ethnics or ideals you are introducing friction into the lives of the immigrants and the existing inhabitants.
Friction generates heat, enough heat and you get a fire. There are plenty of place in the world where fires are burning.
And they are burning within countries who were relatively orderly prior to mass immigration.
Some push the view that nation states and nationalism are productive of war but that ignores the true cause of war, the hidden promoters of war, the bankers who make money from financing both sides and those who otherwise feel they stand the benefit from the destruction of one or both parties. Such as the US neocons do by financing the war in the Ukraine in an attempt to destabilize and weaken Russia. And let’s not open up the discussion on the repatriation of some of the taxpayer funded relief as political donations.
The larger the group the easier it would appear to be for the nefarious to control the group for their benefit rather than the benefit of the members of the group.
What works? Smaller societal units wherein each member knows the others by name and where the members in the group have a say in the rules and direction of the group.
Yesterday I Cut Someone Off In Traffic by Connie Manning
Connie Manning
“I’m a good driver, but I pulled out right in front of this guy, who of course leaned on his horn… hard.
Then, as luck would have it, we pulled into the SAME store parking lot. Yay! I knew it was coming.
He arranged it so he would be standing in front of his vehicle as I rolled by slowly, looking for a spot to park. There he was, middle finger in the air (big surprise) shoving it aggressively toward me while yelling.
I braked, threw it into reverse, came up beside him, rolled down my window, and…..just listened. I let him rant.
‘LEARN HOW TO %#%€ing DRIVE FOR #%#!SAKE!!’ That was probably the nicest thing he said in all of it.
When he was done, I said in an even tone that I have perfected for escalations at home: ‘You have a right to be pissed. I cut you off, and I’m really sorry. I’m usually a pretty good driver, but that was a really stupid mistake and I’m sorry I put us both in danger.’
He sort of stuttered, still mad, but visibly trying to process what Id just said. Then I said, ‘Thank you for being on the ball, and saving us BOTH today with your quick reflexes.’
He literally mumbled, ‘Geez…just be careful…’ He had his head down and was still adjusting to someone being kind to him, someone who he had just called every name in the book and f-bombed about 500 times in public… loudly.
It did shake me up, but not the way it did him.
I’ve found that I’m so much more prepared for the unexpected than the average person. I’ve also learned, through my son, that everything is a teachable moment, that one should always act with grace and good intention, and that whenever possible, give someone a chance to show their best side.
And that’s what he did.
I was pushing my cart around the store, and all of a sudden there was a tap on my shoulder. It’s the angry dude. Only he isn’t angry, he’s humble.
‘You said sorry to me, but I’m the one who owes you an apology. I had a really bad morning, some bad news at work. Thank you for reminding me that everyone makes mistakes, including me. I acted really sh*tty calling you names and stuff. I’m really sorry for that.’
‘Thank you,’ I said and smiled. Then he smiled, too. We told each other to have a nice day and I think we both did just that. We BOTH stepped out of our comfort zone to thank someone else for their actions. And it felt good.”
The deeper philosophical issue this raises is that criminals, high or low, do not follow the rules!
This is why the only major change you will get from sweeping gun laws is the disarming of the population rendering them powerless to defend them selves against tyranny whether that be from robbers of goverments.
Because there will always be somone not following the rules, the only thing that keeps a society on the rails is the willingness of each of us to call out unethical, immoral or illegal conduct.
To accomplish and maintain that you need to inculcate into each generation of young the values of honesty, integrity and courage and the wisdom of intelligence and competence.
To those interested in knowing from whence came the most marked departure from this ideal, I have penned a few articles you might find of interest. You can find a preface and the list of articles here:
Psychiatry – The Trigger For The Collapse of Civilization
Behind every bad condition will be found a psychiatrist.
In 1947 the then president of the World Federation of Mental Health, Brock Chisholm, said, “The reinterpretation and eventual eradication of the concept of right and wrong are the belated objectives of nearly all Psychotherapy.”
Chisholm further stated that if they were to be successful they needed to infiltrate the professions to introduce their ideas (more correctly called “insanities”) there.
This year is the 76th anniversary of his speech. Looking around at the average intelligence level, morality, ethics and consequent problems with crime, drugs, sexual perversions etc. I’d say the psychiatrists were remarkably successful! More’s the pity!
If we as parents and teachers do not instill in our children respect for one another, tolerance for differences, that there is right and wrong, the difference between right and wrong, that actions have consequences and that regardless of what has happened in the past one has the ultimate responsibility for the actions one takes in the present, then we are, by our neglect, cocreating a society where psychiatry’s evil intentions are widely manifest, as is happening at present.
