Much of this is predicated on the premise that “groups of like minded people have a much better chance of surviving than even well-prepared individuals” as was told me by a friend on flote.app.

With the reduction in the education level, the promotion of division between different members of society and the deliberate destruction of the economy the chances for civil unrest have grown exponentially. And there are always natural calamities happening somewhere. The instability of the Earth’s magnetic field at present cause some to believe a pole shift is imminent. Evidence points to such as having happened regularly throughout history and according to time frames and recent events, could be on the cards in our immediate future.

All of which highlights the desirability if not necessity for heeding Jack Reacher’s philosophy, “Hope for the best, plan for the worst.”

This is by no means a comprehensive detailing of all that should be done and I encourage you to look online for other resources with which to round out your group plan.

With that in mind I tender some suggestions that went through my mind when I should have been sleeping last night!

Seek out and ally yourself with either
a) a Constitutional Sheriff and/or
b) the local Police and/or
c) the local National Guard and/or
d) a local group of ex-service personnel.

You do not want to be targeted as a trouble maker so steer clear of CIA/FBI connections/plants/informers. From all accounts they seem to be a source of trouble.

For the same reason do not advocate or allow within your group talk of violence or “proactive action” against any person or group.

You want as many members as possible of your local community to be involved in this activity. Preferably everyone. If you are all on the same side you are more powerful and have a greater chance of survival. To that end if there is not one already set up you may want to advocate for and help organize a steering committee to organize for community protection/defense.

The person with the most successful track record of leadership and planning should be appointed CEO of the group. The CEO should have an Organizing Officer to organize activities and an Establishment Officer who ensures all necessary materials are available and training occurs.

One of the first orders of business for the new group is to get broad agreement on the goals and purposes of the group. I have found the best tool for that is an Admin Scale. You can learn how to do one here: https://www.scientology.org/courses/targets/overview.html

You will want to appoint an ex police detective or ex military intelligence officer as Master At Arms for the group to
1) keep in the ethics of the individuals of the group,
2) promptly squash talk of armed insurrection and retribution,
3) be alert for indicators of plants and subversives and if found, investigate and if proven, expel them promptly.

Each group member should be assigned a post or job as appropriate to their skills, abilities and resources.

The salespersons should be appointed to recruit new members.

The marketing/PR talented should be appointed Liaison Officer for the group to maintain good relations with local law enforcement.

The highest ranking ex-service personnel with the best combat record should be appointed Combat In Charge. He/she should survey the landscape, have a catalog of personnel and equipment resources and should draw up a list of trigger point events, meeting places, battle/evacuation plans and communicate those to his team leaders in case he is somehow injured or otherwise taken out of the picture.

All group members should know the trigger point events and designated meeting places and what to bring. What to bring will vary based on the trigger point event. Your coins and bullion will not do you much good in a tornado or a riot, your gun and ammo are no advantage in a tornado and a supply of prepared meals not much help in a riot!

The ex-service personnel should be asked to conduct small arms training and self-defense lessons.

An accomplished farmer or home gardener should help those new to gardening to get growing successfully.

Someone should be appointed Communications Officer and be responsible for circulating data to group members and working out a communication system in case cell phones and land lines are inoperative. Short wave radios, walkie talkies, solar powered battery rechargers are possible resources to investigate.

As well as their designated hats, each member should be encouraged and helped to increase their personal stocks of canned goods, survival rations, fuel, matches, batteries etc. and start/expand their vegetable garden to become as close to self-sufficient as possible and increase their ability to trade.

If the banks freeze the ability to withdraw money it will be very useful for each member to have some silver dollars or other bullion with which to trade.

The Establishment Officer should compile a list of persons and their skills and encourage each member to upskill according to their needs and interests and the requirements of the group.
