IF YOU DO NOTHING ELSE, put a beneficiary on all of your financial accounts like checking savings CDs, Life Insurance, investments etc. You don’t need a will for them to get to your money, just a death certificate. And make a list, preferably by hand instead of your computer, either give it to your trusted person, spouse or put it in your security box at the bank. If the person doesn’t know you have a savings account or a CD at XYZ Bank, they can never go get the money. Make sure you have a trusted person that is a signer on the security box at the bank.

IMPORTANT information to get your affairs in order!

Make sure all bank accounts have direct beneficiaries. The beneficiary need only go to the bank with your death certificate and an ID of their own.

TOD = Transfer On Death deed if you own a home. Completing this document and filing it with your county saves your heirs THOUSANDS. This document allows you to transfer ownership of your home to your designee. All they need to do is take their ID and your death certificate to the county building and the deed is signed over. Doing this will avoid the home having to go through probate.

Living Will: Allows one to put in writing exactly what you want done in the event you cannot speak for yourself when it comes to healthcare decisions as well as other final decisions.

Durable Power of Attorney: Allows one to designate a person to make legal decisions if you are no longer competent to do so.

Power of Attorney for Healthcare: This document allows one to designate someone to make healthcare decisions for them.

Last Will and Testament: Designates to whom personal belongings will go to, who the Administrator will be. But if you have a beneficiary on any of your financial accounts, that will override a will. For instance if you say I leave all of my possessions to my daughter Susie, but on your savings account the beneficiary is your best friend, then the money goes to your best friend.

Funeral Planning Declaration: Allows one to say exactly one’s wishes as far as disposition of the body and the services.

If the above documents are done, you can AVOID probate.

If all the above is not done, you have to open an estate account at the bank. All money that doesn’t have direct beneficiaries goes into this account. You have to have an attorney to open the estate account. The attorney also has to publicize your passing in the newspaper or post publication at the county court house, to allow anyone to make a claim on your property. – It’s a complete PAIN.

Make a list of all banks and account numbers, all investment institutions with account numbers, lists of credit cards, utility accounts, etc. Leave clear instructions as to how and when these things are paid.

Make sure heirs know where life insurance policies are located.

Make 100% sure SOMEONE knows your Apple ID, bank ID account logins and passwords!

Make sure you have titles for all vehicles, campers, etc!

Set up a TRUST for intended beneficiaries, especially those that are too young, and appoint a trustee of said trust.

MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!! – Talk with those closest to you and make all your wishes KNOWN. Talk to those whom you’ve designated, as well as those close to you whom you did not designate. – Do this to explain why your decisions were made and to avoid any lingering questions or hurt feelings.

Meteorologist Debunks TIME Mag’s Claim That Jan 2024 Was Hottest On Record

Climate Lie Debunked

An article in TIME Magazine (TIME) claims that January 2024 was the hottest ever on record for the planet. Titled, 2024 Had the Hottest January on Record Following 2023’s Hottest Year on Record the article is based on a single source of temperature data.

Data from multiple other sources of temperature measurements refute this claim. [emphasis, links added]

TIME refers to the Copernicus EU climate service as the source for its alarming claim. Copernicus EU issued a press release claiming:

January 2024 was the warmest January on record globally, with an average ERA5 surface air temperature of 13.14°C, 0.70°C above the 1991-2020 average for January and 0.12°C above the temperature of the previous warmest January, in 2020.

The month was 1.66°C warmer than an estimate of the January average for 1850-1900, the designated pre-industrial reference period.

The problem with that is that they are using a reference period of 1850 to 1900 that no other climate data source uses; a period, not coincidentally, more than 100 years of global warming ago when the Earth was cooler than today.

For example, NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) produced a map of the globe that shows a significantly lower global temperature for January 2024.

The GISS global value was just 1.20°C compared to the 1.66°C claimed by Copernicus is different because NASA GISS is using a base period of 1951 to 1980.

Copernicus seemingly cherry-picked the reference period to fit the climate crisis narrative, and TIME was too uninterested in seeking and presenting the truth to investigate the extraordinary claim, instead reporting it as an unchallenged fact.

When you look at satellite temperature data compiled by the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), the “hottest January ever” claim also falls apart:

The satellite’s global temperature value is just 0.86°C, essentially half of what Copernicus claims at 1.66°C.

While it is not the globe, the United States (U.S.) is often cited as being a leading metric for climate change by both media and scientific sources. This is because the U.S. has more temperature stations per land area than any other region included in the global climatological network.

As such, its readings have an outsized impact on global average temperature measurements.

Yet when you examine the data from the US Climate Reference Network (USCRN), the best and most state-of-the-art surface measurement system in the world, we find that not only was January 2024 not the hottest on the record it was below normal in temperature:

At -0.14°F (-0.08°C), there is certainly no cause for alarm about temperature in the United States. Yet TIME does not mention any of these other sources.

It gets worse than the simple subversion of science by omission of critical facts. TIME quoted a spokesperson for Copernicus in the article:

Rapid reductions in greenhouse gas emissions are the only way to stop global temperatures increasing,” Samantha Burgess, deputy director of the Copernicus Climate Change Service, said in a statement.

That statement is nothing more than political advocacy calling for the reduction of greenhouse gases through restrictions of economies, rather than simply reporting the science. By using that quote, TIME is complicit in pushing advocacy over science.

B vitamins slow Alzheimer’s brain atrophy seven-fold

Amid a devastating epidemic stealing minds and memories, a new study suggests an astonishing 7-fold reduction in Alzheimer’s brain atrophy from a shockingly simple treatment: high-dose B vitamins.

With over 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease and no FDA-approved treatments that effectively slow its progression, there is a desperate need for new therapeutic strategies. Despite billions invested in developing medications targeting Alzheimer’s brain plaques and tangles, drug trial after drug trial has ended in disappointment. But an unlikely natural treatment – high doses of three humble B vitamins – may succeed where these drugs have failed.

A groundbreaking new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (Douaud et al., 2013) suggests that high-dose B vitamin treatment could slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease by as much as 7-fold. The double-blind randomized controlled trial included 156 elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), an early Alzheimer’s risk state. Patients who took supplements of folic acid, vitamins B6 and B12 over two years had dramatically less brain atrophy detected via MRI scans compared to patients taking a placebo. Critically, the treatment was most effective in patients with elevated homocysteine levels. By lowering this amino acid, B vitamins reduced grey matter loss in brain regions vulnerable in Alzheimer’s.

The results provide a glimmer of hope amid the litany of failed Alzheimer’s clinical trials. Unlike risky experimental drugs designed to remove plaques or tangles, vitamin B supplements are safe, natural, and already indicated for high homocysteine levels. If these unprecedented findings are confirmed in ongoing trials, vitamin supplementation could offer the first major advancement in Alzheimer’s treatment in over 15 years. With cases expected to triple in coming decades, this affordable regimen could have tremendous potential to alleviate the staggering burden of this epidemic.

Our understanding of COVID-19 vaccinations and their impact on health and mortality has evolved substantially since the first vaccine rollouts.

Published reports from the original randomized phase 3 trials concluded that the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines could greatly reduce COVID-19 symptoms. In the interim, problems with the methods, execution, and reporting of these pivotal trials have emerged. Re-analysis of the Pfizer trial data identified statistically significant increases in serious adverse events (SAEs) in the vaccine group. Numerous SAEs were identified following the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), including death, cancer, cardiac events, and various autoimmune, hematological, reproductive, and neurological disorders. Furthermore, these products never underwent adequate safety and toxicological testing in accordance with previously established scientific standards. Among the other major topics addressed in this narrative review are the published analyses of serious harms to humans, quality control issues and process-related impurities, mechanisms underlying adverse events (AEs), the immunologic basis for vaccine inefficacy, and concerning mortality trends based on the registrational trial data.

The risk-benefit imbalance substantiated by the evidence to date contraindicates further booster injections and suggests that, at a minimum, the mRNA injections should be removed from the childhood immunization program until proper safety and toxicological studies are conducted. Federal agency approval of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines on a blanket-coverage population-wide basis had no support from an honest assessment of all relevant registrational data and commensurate consideration of risks versus benefits.

Given the extensive, well-documented SAEs and unacceptably high harm-to-reward ratio, we urge governments to endorse a global moratorium on the modified mRNA products until all relevant questions pertaining to causality, residual DNA, and aberrant protein production are answered.

Public Education is Being Deliberately Manipulated to Dumb Down the Population

(Tom: This was written for US figures but no prizes for you if you figure the Australian situation is similar.)

Per the people who keep track of the S.A.T. scores in Princeton, in 1963, the average S.A.T. MATHEMATICS score for high school seniors who wanted to go on to college, was “502”.

Figures were recently released showing that the S.A.T. MATH scores for graduating seniors today is “466”.

Keep in mind that the test has been getting easier. For example, in 1963, you received 1 pt for a correct answer and lost 1/4 pt for a wrong answer. Today, you receive 1 pt for a correct answer and you lose no points for wrong answers, which means that it pays you to guess.

Finally, the 1963 test was 4 hours long. The new, on-line, test is 2 hours and 15 minutes long. That includes Math and English comprehension. The questions, as long as I have been a proctor for the exam, have become much easier.

Clearly, math is being de-emphasized in the high schools.

In 2016, the college board tried to adopt an “Adversity Score” which was based upon the applicants Zip code and how many ‘free lunches’ were given in his/her school. Since then, the general population has complained mightily against this score, asking, how does a single diversity number measure the applicant’s ability to do well in college? The diversity score has since been abandoned.

Finally, the new, on-line, SAT test senses how well you are doing in part One. If you aren’t doing that well, it will provide subsequent questions that are easier in parts 2,3 and 4. Conversely, if you are doing well, it provides more difficult questions. When they score your test, the number of right answers coupled with the point rating of the difficulty of the questions answered, are used to calculate your actual score. They are still taking into consideration a more level playing field, but sacrificing overall quantitative accuracy. Do the research yourself.
