Everything Is Your Teacher

Everything Is Your Teacher
This is a repeat of a post from 3 years ago.

Oh how true I am finding this at present! Both with the course I am doing and the lectures to which I am listening.

Truly paying attention to people benefits you and them incredibly.

Do you know that apart from psychiatry (which is not a therapy but destruction masked as help) and psychotherapy (from which 50% of their patients commit suicide within 3 years) even the very simplest healing modality has at least a 22% success rate? Just because the patient found the practitioner (Shaman, witch doctor, medico) to talk to.

And then there is paying attention to one’s environment!

The more you pay attention to your present time environment, the less moments of past trauma occupy your attention and have hold on you! This is why gardening, going for a walk and doing physical work are all so therapeutic.

Change The World

Change The World
I read a great piece of advice that recommended we have a third of our friends more capable than us, so we could learn from them, a third the same as us, so we had peers, and a third that we were helping.
Although truth be told, I rarely meet an individual who can’t teach me something.

On the Day I Gained Certainty That I was a Spirit by Louis Alan Swartz

On the day I gained certainty that I was
A spirit, the subway went up
Lexington Avenue as it had always done.
Down on Seventh Avenue the
Men still pushed their carts
With bolts of cotton and silk.
The cross town bus still did its
Route on 42nd Street.
The mannequins
In Macy’s window nearby stood still
Stiffly still as they had always done.
The train to Boston pulled out
Of Grand Central Station. Several
Couples fell in love that day in Central Park.
A twelve year old boy found out
About Walk Whitman in the main
Public Library at Fifth Avenue
And 42nd Street.
Big ocean liners were docked
In the harbour on the West Side.
A young man sweetly played
His violin on the corner of
42nd and 8th Avenue.
The Staten Island ferry moved
Away from the dock. The diamond
Dealer intently eyed a gem
Through his glass on 47th Street
As he had done for generations.
Uptown on West 86th Street
Near Broadway a sweet old
Woman sighed deeply
And smiled and breathed
Her last breath. A boy child
Was born in Brooklyn.
The taxi drivers weaved
Between the lanes.
Somebody ordered a large
Coffee regular, hold the sugar.
Three teenage boys sang
A cappella at the corner
Of Willis Avenue and
143rd Street in the South
Bronx. A crowd gathered,
They were magnificent.
In my world all
Was still. Everything.
Around me was pervaded
With a calm I do not
Remember ever having experienced.
I felt a love for everyone I
Saw no matter who they were.
I was astounded by
Beauty all around me
Though it was the same
32nd Street, the same
Broadway on which I had
Always walked.
I felt a kindness,
A compassion,
A tolerance, an openness,
A hope, a confidence unlike
Anything I had ever known.
And I knew that everything
Was going to be alright, that
All would be well, that
I was ok and that I
Would continue to be ok.
On the day that I gained
Certainty that I was
A Spirit.

Nurse Speaks Out Against Vaccines

Nick lost his son afer a vaccination. I posted a link to his story a few weks ago. Here he shares some more on his story…
By Nick Catone…
This message was sent to my wife today…
I am following you on Facebook. I am a nurse just like you. I worked NICU for 18 years, worked CICU for 7, and was a research nurse for two large pharmaceutical companies. I saw what vaccines did to our babies. I watched how all studies ended up benefiting the maker of the drug. Many of the kids had to go back on the vent that received the vaccines prior to discharge. I often wondered why we had to vaccinate 2 lb babies from Hep B or even Vit K. The tiniest babies would get the same dose as a 9 pound healthy newborn. They couldn’t handle it.
As a medical professional, we trust what we are told. We are critical thinkers and believed there to be scientific evidence supporting everything we did. We all know now, that is not the case any longer. We can’t and won’t be spoon fed big Pharma’s revenue enhancing fake science. I believe all of this can end with medical professionals saying no. We must all stand together. One voice will be heard. It will be hard.
My heart breaks for you. I can’t even begin to imagine your pain. There are many people watching and following your site. We are here to help in anyway. You are in our hearts and are not alone.
More and more messages like this are sent to us from people working in system all over the world. The truth is coming out. We know what happened to my son and I’ll never stop fighting for my him.

Shopping Is The Equivalent Of Voting

Shopping Is The Equivalent Of Voting
I reckon it’s WAY more effective than voting!
Voting just elects the next bunch of recipients of lobbyist donations.
Voting with your spending removes power from the greedy and supports the local farmer, artist and artisan!
Every dollar you can remove from those who value their profit over your nutrition and health and the protection of our environment is a dollar well directed!

Not Buying War

Not Buying War
I just watched on YouTube some trailers for upcoming movies.
One of them was of a returned US serviceman and portrayed how, despite not being physically injured, he was severely messed up from the war.
It occurred to me how much more destructive a game war is than I had previously acknowledged when the “victors” lives are also destroyed.
War is a covert admission of failure and incompetence at the highest levels of government. When you start to look at it in that light it becomes not just reasonable but mandatory that it should instantly result in the dismissal without recourse of, at the barest minimum, the President or Prime Minister and the Secretary of State/Foreign Minister and forfeiture of all pensions and entitlements from their government positions, past and present.
