A Swiss study published on 4 July 2023, in the European Journal of Heart Failure entitled ‘Sex-specific differences in myocardial injury incidence after COVID-19 mRNA-1273 booster vaccination’ has found that myocardial injury is far more common than previously thought. The authors realised that passive reporting of myocarditis following vaccination would only capture severe cases, missing milder cases which also affect future cardiac health outcomes.

In their prospective study of 777 healthcare workers following Moderna Covid mRNA booster vaccination, the authors tested for acute dynamic increase in high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) concentration above the gender-specific normal upper limit on day 3 after vaccination without evidence of an alternative cause.

40 participants were found to have such elevated troponin levels, and 22 of these were adjudicated to have vaccine-associated myocardial injury. That is a whopping rate of one person out of 35 recipients. Women were more likely to be affected than men. As a measure of scale, 1 in 35 is a thousand times higher than the myocarditis rate currently admitted by the New Zealand government.

New evidence has emerged that the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are routinely injuring the heart of all vaccine recipients, raising further questions about their safety and their role in the recent elevated levels of heart-related deaths.

The latest evidence comes in a study from Switzerland, which found elevated troponin levels – indicating heart injury – across all vaccinated people, with 2.8% showing levels associated with subclinical myocarditis.

The official line on elevated heart injuries and deaths, where they are acknowledged, is that they are most likely caused by the virus as a post-Covid condition rather than the vaccines.

However, expert group HART (Health Advisory and Recovery Team) has pointed to Australia as a “control group” on this question. HART notes that even though Australia had not had significant Covid (only 30,000 reported infections and 910 deaths) prior to mid-2021, it still saw a trend in excess non-Covid deaths beginning in June 2021 (see below). HART notes that Australia “did not have prior Covid as a reason for seeing this rise in mortality and hospital pressure from spring 2021”. Instead, “the results from this control group indicate that the cause of this rise in deaths, particularly in young people, must be something in common with Australia, Europe and the USA”.

On December 8th 2020, June Raine, Head of the MHRA, assured us all that “no corners have been cut” when the Government gave Temporary Authorisation to the Pfizer Covid vaccine. Based on the evidence from another of my FOIs to MHRA, it’s hard to see how that was an honest statement.

Before I go on, a bit of background. Most development trials in any sector use a product made using small-scale manufacturing facilities or a lab. You don’t want to invest in mass production (new machines and tooling and maybe a new factory) until you’ve got confidence in the design. On the other hand, scaling up production creates new risks. It’s a huge subject but to keep it simple just imagine scaling up from making a dozen cup cakes in your kitchen to producing thousands to sell in the shops. You’d encounter massive problems obtaining, measuring and mixing the large amounts of ingredients. They might have to come from multiple sources and you’d have to assure yourself they were equivalent. Mixing large amounts homogeneously in large vats is harder than in a pudding bowl and cooking them in your kitchen oven. You might have to change the actual production process and even add or substitute new ingredients. There’s a high risk that you’ll end up with ‘different’ cup cakes. So unless you compare test results from the first full production batch with the results from the cup cakes you made in your kitchen, you are flying blind.

The mRNA SARS-CoV-2 vaccines were brought to market in response to the public health crises of Covid-19. The utilization of mRNA vaccines in the context of infectious disease has no precedent. The many alterations in the vaccine mRNA hide the mRNA from cellular defenses and promote a longer biological half-life and high production of spike protein. However, the immune response to the vaccine is very different from that to a SARS-CoV-2 infection. In this paper, we present evidence that vaccination induces a profound impairment in type I interferon signaling, which has diverse adverse consequences to human health. Immune cells that have taken up the vaccine nanoparticles release into circulation large numbers of exosomes containing spike protein along with critical microRNAs that induce a signaling response in recipient cells at distant sites. We also identify potential profound disturbances in regulatory control of protein synthesis and cancer surveillance. These disturbances potentially have a causal link to neurodegenerative disease, myocarditis, immune thrombocytopenia, Bell’s palsy, liver disease, impaired adaptive immunity, impaired DNA damage response and tumorigenesis. We show evidence from the VAERS database supporting our hypothesis. We believe a comprehensive risk/benefit assessment of the mRNA vaccines questions them as positive contributors to public health.
