‘Climate change doesn’t cause fires’

Stop blaming climate change. Even if the climate is changing, does that mean we should just throw our hands in the air and let our national estate and biodiversity go up smoke every year? Sitting around blaming the weather for all of our problems is juvenile and futile.

There are several things we can change in how we manage the land and this article makes good sense.

Colloidal Silver’s Advantage Over Pharmaceutical Antibiotics

Silver particles
Silver nanoparticles. 3D illustration. Biotechnological and scientific background

Could the use of colloidal silver, a natural antibiotic that has been used for thousands of years, be a key answer to today’s problem of pharmaceutical antibiotic overuse leading to drug-resistant pathogens? The beginning of the end for pharmaceutical antibiotics is blamed on its overuse, both with overly prescribing for humans and overuse with Big Ag and Dairy livestock. This rising problem is known as antibiotic drug resistance. Ironically, the more complex the chemistry of pharmaceutical antibiotics, the easier it is for pathogenic bacteria to figure them out and develop a resistance to them. This has been occurring with almost all pharmaceutical antibiotics. But this phenomena doesn’t exist with natural colloidal silver. Pathogenic bacteria haven’t figured out a way around silver even after centuries of use. Before methods of suspending silver particles in distilled water as colloidal silver, silver coins and containers were used to prevent harmful bacteria from forming in the foods, beverages, and water contained. Antibiotics are prescribed even when patients have viral infections, adding to their overuse. Colloidal silver is not only an antibiotic, it is also anti-viral and anti-fungal. Antiviral pharmaceuticals tend to be ineffective and dangerous with huge side effects or long-term lowered immunity and sub-clinical issues created by upsetting the intestinal microbiome balance. So why aren’t MDs recommending it?

EVEN SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN ADMITS THAT 5G COULD DEVASTATE PUBLIC HEALTH

There’s a growing consensus even among establishment scientists that the introduction of 5G isn’t a good thing for human health.
An article recently published by Scientific American, believe it or not, actually calls into question the safety of 5G technology, which is being rolled out all around the world without any legitimate proof that it’s actually safe.
Entitled. “We Have No Reason to Believe 5G is Safe,” the article points to research conducted by Joel M. Moskowitz from the University of California, Berkeley suggesting that cellular technology in general, including Wi-Fi and 5G, are significantly more harmful to human health than the government and telecommunication industry would have us all believe.

This Weird Echidna Is The Result of One of The Best Fire Survival Tactics We’ve Heard

Weird Echidna

Amber Day wrote:
I have been concerned about our echidnas and how they have fared in the catastrophic fires and then this popped up…

Echidnas don’t try to escape a fire, instead they bury themselves as deep as they can into a cool, protective soil, take a nap, and wait for the flames to all blow over.

Although this is no ordinary nap. It’s similar to hibernation, but a shorter and shallower state called torpor. It allows echidnas to lower their body temperature and their metabolic rate, so that they can conserve energy while out-waiting danger.

Tom: I was wondering about this technique last week when thinking of what to do if I were caught in those horrific circumstances.

Feta – The Healthiest Cheese?

Feta Cheese

Feta – The Healthiest Cheese?

I have good news! Not all cheese is bad for you — so if you’re a cheese lover, make sure you choose the healthiest cheese out there: feta.

Cheese is a delicious, savory addition to many dishes, but with the rise in popularity of processed dairy, it’s become a product many people avoid when sticking to a healthy diet.

Made from sheep or goat milk (often combined), feta cheese is a nutrient-rich option for getting the flavor you’re looking for, without the guilt. Feta is easier to digest and much less allergenic and inflammatory than cheeses from cow’s milk, which is encouraging to those of you who may be sensitive to dairy products.

Like most food products, it’s much better raw. If you can, avoid feta cheese made from pasteurized milk products. It’s important to also remember that feta cheese, high in sodium and saturated fat, should be used sparingly, and not every day.

Joni Mitchell – Woodstock (Live In-Studio 1970)

written & produced by Joni Mitchell
from the album Ladies Of The Canyon (1970)
live in-studio from London (1970)
additional audio/video post-production by sonicboy19

lyrics:

I came upon a child of God
He was walking along the road
And I asked him, “where are you going?”
And this he told me:
“I’m going on down to Yasgur’s farm
I’m going to join in a rock ‘n’ roll band
I’m going to camp out on the land
I’m going to try an’ get my soul free.”

We are stardust
We are golden
And we’ve got to get ourselves
Back to the garden

“Then can I walk beside you?
I have come here to lose the smog
And I feel to be a cog in something turning
Well maybe it is just the time of year
Or maybe it’s the time of man
I don’t know who I am
But you know life is for learning.”

We are stardust
We are golden
And we’ve got to get ourselves
Back to the garden

By the time we got to Woodstock
We were half a million strong
And everywhere there was song and celebration
And I dreamed I saw the bombers
Riding shotgun in the sky
And they were turning into butterflies
Above our nation

We are stardust
Billion year old carbon
We are golden
Caught in the devil’s bargain
And we’ve got to get ourselves
back to the garden
