How to maintain your health by repairing post-exercise free radical damage
Another little piece of the jigsaw puzzle of life fell into place this week while I was drafting a flyer for the upcoming Fitness and Health Expo. It was the body’s three step process of repairing free radical damage and the things I’ve included in my bars and powders to support that. Here’s the text of the flyer. Hopefully you get something from it.
How to maintain your health by repairing post-exercise free radical damage
Let me share some exciting data with you that will have an enormous impact on the power & quality of your post-exercise recovery strategy.
Good food & supplements should provide energy, strength and stamina and aid post-exercise recovery and repair. My nutrition bars and powders do that and a whole lot more. The “whole lot more” is the reason my bars and powders could be the healthiest food you ever eat.
A free radical is one or a group of atoms missing an oxygen electron. Every time you eat or exercise, your body suffers free radical damage.
The more you exercise, the more free radical damage your body suffers.
Free radical damage is one of 5 key factors in degenerative diseases.
The good news is that your body has a 3 stage solution to directly address and reverse free radical damage. The bad news is that until now, nobody has told you about this 3 stage process and how to reinforce it. As a result of not knowing this, most diets are nutrient deficient – they lead to premature aging and early death.
I have specifically researched and included dozens of ingredients in my top bars and powders to speed and improve your body’s 3 stage process of repairing free radical damage.
Here are the three steps your body takes and how my products support and enhance each step…
1. Antioxidants
Antioxidants are the first line of nutritional defense. They supply the missing oxygen electron to revert a free radical. Research shows antioxidants are not additive, they are multiplicative in their effect. Any combination of antioxidants does more good than the sum of each one. Like 1 + 1 = 3. So take your vitamin C & E at the same time.
Now, imagine taking 90 or 156 different antioxidants at the same time!
Every ingredient in my top bars and powders is an antioxidant.
2. Glutathione Boosters
Glutathione is the master antioxidant. It restores antioxidants to active duty after they have donated an electron to a free radical. Researchers found the only two things 100 year olds had in common were a positive mental attitude and high levels of glutathione. Unfortunately, glutathione supplements are not absorbed by the digestive system. (Note: taking a vitamin C tablet does more to boost glutathione levels than taking a glutathione supplement.)
I include over a dozen ingredients to boost your glutathione levels.
(My top bars have 17 and my Nutri-BlastTM nutrition powder has 15.)
3. Stem Cell Release Boosters
Stem cells are made in the bones. They contain the genetic blueprint to become nearly any other type of cell in the body. Stem cells surf the blood stream on a “find and replace damaged cells mission”. When a stem cell finds a damaged cell, the stem cell evolves and replaces it. The damaged cell is then picked up by the liver for recycling.
So the more stem cells you have in your blood, the more damaged cells are replaced before they can do harm. You can imagine how much more important this is to a very active body compared to a sedentary one!
I include in my powders and top bars 7 ingredients that research has shown increases the release of stem cells from your bones.
I have a few other goals for my top bars you can read about on this page: http://www.healthelicious.com.au/eXtreme-Nutrition-Bar.html

This is great! You can hear the laughs from those who attended a catholic school.

On the album version (yes, an audio LP) he ends this not with the story about Nuns. He ends? it saying:
“I keep having this dream. I’m standing before God, and I just 35 cents short.”
Cool: Fridge Without Using Electricity!
This is incredible idea is an extension of the pottery water cooling vessels used though the millennia.
By: Chris Gupta
This is Mohammed Bah Abba’s Pot-in-pot invention. In northern Nigeria, where Mohammed is from, over 90% of the villages have no electricity. His invention, which he won a Rolex Award for (and $100,000), is a refrigerator than runs without electricity.
Here’s how it works. You take a smaller pot and put it inside a larger pot. Fill the space in between them with wet sand, and cover the top with a wet cloth. When the water evaporates, it pulls the heat out with it, making the inside cold. It’s a natural, cheap, easy-to-make refrigerator.
So, instead of perishable foods rotting after only three days, they can last up to three weeks. Obviously, this has the potential to change their lives. And it already has — there are more girls attending school, for example, as their families no longer need them to sell food in the market.
“Brilliant ideas don’t need to be difficult to execute: here’s a case in point. The technology has been known for centuries, but WASN’T APPLIED TO THE PROBLEM. Notice that applying technology also has the effect of educating young people.”
I Don’t Feel Well And I Don’t Know Why
This isn’t advice from a drug pushing a doctor, this is sanity!
I wonder how many people would actually do what was recommended?
My guess is that a lot of people on my page (or similar pages) wouldn’t need the advice and a lot not on my page (or similar pages) would not follow it.
Considering the earlier post about one in five Americans being on mind altering psychiatric medication, I think it behoves us to share this far and wide.
Tell everyone you know, a long walk is more helpful than any psychiatric medication.
Africans have used it for generations to cure insanity, post-partum depression etc.
Fed up with corruption, thousands of armed vigilantes take over Mexican town and arrest the police
The self-described “community police” force of about 1,500 took over recently and arrested police officers there after their “commander” was killed and his body dumped in the street, various reports said.

Coming soon to a government corruption near you?
1 in 5 American Adults on Psyche Drugs
According Medco Health 1 in 5 American adults are currently taking mind-altering psychiatric drugs such as antidepressants, antipsychotics and anti-anxiety drugs. International drug regulatory agencies have issued warnings that side effects including mania, psychosis, hallucinations, suicidal ideation, diabetes, heart attack, stroke and sudden death as well as severe withdrawal. This is crazy! We need to get the word out about how taking a walk is more powerful than an anti-depressant with no harmful side effects.
Not that the shenanigans that the politicians engage in isn’t enough to make one feel bad, it’s just there are far better means of handling it.
ICE – In Case of Emergency
Message from the Ambulance Service
We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its memory. If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn’t know who to call.
Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this ‘ICE’ (In Case of Emergency) Campaign.
The concept of ‘ICE’ is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As mobile phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name ‘ICE’ ( In Case Of Emergency).
The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents there were always mobile phones with patients but they didn’t know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as ‘ICE’.
Please forward this. It won’t take too many ‘forwards’ before everybody will know about this. It really could save your life, or put a loved one’s mind at rest.
For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc.

PASS THIS AROUND AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE AS THIS CAN HELP IN AN EMERGENCY.
Caring
One young man went to apply for a managerial position in a big company. He passed the initial interview, and now would meet the director for the final interview.
The director discovered from his CV that the youth’s academic achievements were excellent. He asked, “Did you obtain any scholarships in school?” the youth answered “no”.
“Was it your father who paid for your school fees?”
“My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.” he replied.
“Where did your mother work?”
“My mother worked as clothes cleaner.”
The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.
“Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?”
“Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Besides, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.
The director said, “I have a request. When you go home today, go and clean your mother’s hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.
The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back home, he asked his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to her son.
The youth cleaned his mother’s hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother’s hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother winced when he touched it.
This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fees. The bruises in the mother’s hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his education, his school activities and his future.
After cleaning his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.
That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.
Next morning, the youth went to the director’s office.
The Director noticed the tears in the youth’s eyes, when he asked: “Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?”
The youth answered,” I cleaned my mother’s hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes’
“I know now what appreciation is. Without my mother, I would not be who I am today. By helping my mother, only now do
I realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done on your own. And I have come to appreciate the
importance and value of helping one’s family.
The director said, “This is what I am looking for in a manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life.”
“You are hired.”
This young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and worked as a team. The company’s performance improved tremendously.
A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop an “entitlement mentality” and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent’s efforts. When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others. For this kind of people, who may be good academically, they may be successful for a while, but eventually they would not feel a sense of achievement. They will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying our children instead?
You can let your child live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch on a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your child learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.
Try to forward this story to as many people as possible… …this may change somebody’s fate.
