Carbon in the air is constructive, it helps plants grow. The more carbon, the better they grow. As the atmospheric carbon increases so the planet becomes greener and less desertified.
Plastic in the environment is destructive. Plants absorb it and pass it on to us, fish eat it and it kills them.
Be a social person. Support carbon and support the removal of plastic from the environment.
There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.
Averaging by its very nature smooths: removing peaks and troughs. Temperature data tends to be cyclical, whether on a one-minute, or thousand-year scale. The Australian Bureau of Meteorology has made a habit of smoothing when it is convenient and using extreme values otherwise. Take their one-minute temperature data from Canberra Airport: super-sensitive electronic equipment now records the highest, lowest, and last second of each minute and reports the highest second as the daily maximum temperature. Back in 2019 I purchased some of this data to test the Bureau’s claim that averaging the data would make no difference. I found that averaging the last one-second of each minute always gave me a lower maximum temperature. This is because the difference between the the highest and the last second could typically be 0.7 degrees Celsius as shown in Figure 17 – that is from a comprehensive report I co-authored in 2020. I have so far been unable to get this report published in a suitable peer-reviewed journal perhaps because it contradicts the Bureau’s much lauded Ayers and Warne (2020) analysis that comes to the opposite conclusion.

Our results show that the percentage of the total CO2 due to the use of fossil fuels from 1750 to 2018 increased from 0% in 1750 to 12% in 2018, much too low to be the cause of global warming.

Like in most issues, the most misinformed were Greens voters with more 75% of Greens thinking the reef was doing worse than usual.
But given the alarmist propaganda spewed out by the ABC and the rest of the left wing media and the brainwashing in our schools, this result is hardly surprising.
It is this deception of the public, and cowardly politicians in the Liberal Party, that would rather appease the climate lies than fight for the truth – is the reason Liberal and Labor have signed the nation up to the ruinous Net Zero.
Just like Covid, how much self-inflicted damage will Australia do to itself until enough people wake up to the con?
In fact, the authorities got EVERYTHING 100% wrong! Now, getting 100% does not come easily. It’s a lot of work to get 100%. In a brilliant lecture Dr Lee Merritt said of Fauci, Brix, etc. “Everything they said was wrong. Now, they were wrong about what they were telling us and they were wrong by errors of omission, not telling us things that we knew to be helpful. And I’m talking about knowing in science for 20 years. So I can give you the benefit of doubt if you’re wrong about one or two things, but when you’re wrong 100% of the time consistently, that’s not by accident. I mean even a blind hog gets to eat corn once in a while.”
