Antibiotics – Double Edged Sword?

Antibiotics can help save lives, and using them kills off the bad bugs that give us sore throats and other infections. But at the same time antibiotics kill off good bugs in our bodies too. Traditional thinking was that once we’re off the antibiotics these good bacteria can re-grow; well maybe not according to Dr Martin Blaser from New York University. Finland: 79 Children Will Require Lifetime Medical Care After Receiving Swine Flu Vaccine

The Finnish government and major insurance companies announced Wednesday they will pay for lifetime medical care for children diagnosed with narcolepsy after receiving the swine flu vaccine. 79 children between the ages of four and 19 developed narcolepsy after receiving the Pandemrix vaccine in 2009 and 2010. Of these cases, an unusually high number, 76, also suffered from bouts of cataplexy, suffering hallucinations or paralysing physical collapses, according to Finnish research. http://cryptogon.com/?p=25354

That is why I make my healthy food bars. I do not want to get an avoidable degenerative disease like cancer, stroke, heart attack, dementia, Alzheimer’s and I am prepared to eat healthier than normal to avoid them.

Join me will you? While it will be somewhat validating, I don’t want to be the loneliest, oldest, most active person alive. I want some company! I don’t want to say, “See, I was right!” to the trees! I would much rather say, “See, we were right!” to a group of happy, healthy, active fellow centenarians.

You see, you are the most influential person in your life.
Nobody has as much influence with you as you do.
Nobody spends as much time with you as you do.

What others say to you is infinitesimally insignificant compared to what you say to you.
If you do not act on the most brilliant advice you receive, it is as if it was never given.
Mediocre advice, acted upon, is infinitesimally more powerful than the best advice ignored.
So make some time this weekend to do these steps.
Imagine yourself to have NO FEAR! Imagine yourself to be all powerful, capable of facing up to any task, conquering any challenge and reaching any goal you set for yourself.
What would you aim for if you maintained that viewpoint?
With that in mind, review the advice you are operating on, your “self talk”, the conversation you have with yourself. See if you can give yourself some better advice.
Then act on it.
After all, who better to follow advice from than the person who knows you best?
