So the Institute of Strategic Studies supposed that in the year 2000 those technologies would be that advanced that it will be possible to deprive human being of his freedom and adjust his personality to the needs of ruling elite. Most probably those technologies were at this level already in 1994.

Ex Marine Tells The Truth About War, Politics, 9/11 And Much More

I have never seen one man explain so much in less than three minutes. Ken O’Keefe, who once served as a U.S. Marine, became an anti-war activist afterwards. He is most famous for being one of the passengers on the MV Mavi Marmara flotilla which was invaded by Israeli commandos while on its way to Gaza in international waters. He was badly beaten, but is lucky to be alive as 9 people were murdered that morning.

Getting missed calls from a number you don't know?

Missed call scams start by ringing your phone and hanging up so quickly that you can’t answer the call in time. Your phone registers a missed call and you probably won’t recognise the number. People will often then call the number back to find out who it is. Apart from being a nuisance, the missed call can lead to a scam in two ways:
The number you call back may be redirected to a premium rate service (a number that starts with 190) without your knowledge, which means you will be charged a lot of money per minute.
The number may tell you that you have won a prize of some sort and give you another number to call to ‘claim’ your prize, but they may not tell you how much the call will cost. This second number may be a premium rate number, again charging you a lot of money to get your ‘prize’. Your prize may be nothing more than a ring tone subscription—which can also be a scam!
Text message scams work by sending you a text message from a number you may not recognise, but the content of the message could sound like it’s from a friend—for instance ‘Hi, it’s John. I’m back! When do you want to catch up?’ or ‘Hey big fella, happy birthday!’.
Another common tactic is for a text message to sound like someone flirting with you. Many people reply asking who it is and end up engaging in a lengthy SMS exchange with the scammer. Only later do they find out that they have been charged a high rate both for messages they sent (sometimes there are also charges for messages received as well).

Australia's First Prime Minister on Immigration

Perhaps this is one email that needs to be forwarded until every Australian with a computer receives it.
The year is 1907, over one hundred years ago…
Sir Edmund Barton’s ideas on Immigrants and being an Australian in 1907.
‘In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an Australian and assimilates
himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such
man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an Australian,
and nothing but an Australian. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an Australian, but something
else also, isn’t an Australian at all. We have room for but one flag, the Australian flag. We have room for but one language here,
and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the Australian people.’

I can see a few things to argue with Sir Edmund, the loyalty to truth and integrity and one’s fellow man and environment being above loyalty to the artificial boundaries imposed by country borders and so on. But he makes the point, and it is a good one, that a man cannot serve two masters. But that may have been said before. 🙂
