(Tom: I received this post…)
I’m a nurse. I’ve been one for 13 years. It wasn’t until about 5 years ago… I started asking these very questions. Nursing is the most trusted profession in America. And those of us who speak out against the agenda are REALLY looking out for your best interests.
Someone tell my why…
Why don’t doctors tell you to take magnesium instead of stool softeners (which dehydrate the bowel)?
Why don’t doctors tell you to change your diet when you have heartburn and indigestion instead of giving you Prisolec? (This causes more heartburn, colon cancer and osteoporosis and leaves food fermenting in your body.)
Why don’t doctors tell you that herbs and certain foods can also heal?
Why don’t doctors tell you to lower toxic chemicals in your home when you have constant headaches and allergies? (Fragrances and chemicals build to toxic levels in our cells. This is one cause of headaches and allergies.)
Why don’t doctors tell you to take activated charcoal for headaches, bloating, gas, skin issues, colds and food poisoning? (Activated charcoal binds with waste and toxins and removes them from the body.)
Why don’t doctors tell you to eat a grapefruit a day to naturally lower your cholesterol instead of prescribing debilitating statins? (You are advised not to eat grapefruit while on statins.)
Why don’t doctors tell you about herbs and herbal teas to support immune function? (Different herbs help different organs.)
Why don’t doctors tell you to take a daily probiotic? (Probiotics aid digestion, promote regularity, help maintain a balance of good bacteria on the bowel, boost immune function and help reduce the incidence of colds and flu.)
Why don’t doctors create diet/lifestyle plans for patients instead of prescribing pills? (90% of all illnesses come from diet and lifestyle choices.)
Why don’t doctors tell you to take supplements to boost your health prior to you getting sick rather than medicating you after you become ill? (Supplements/herbs/tincture can prevent illness by boosting immune function and supporting organs in their natural functions.)
Why don’t doctors teach you that your suppressed emotions can cause mental anguish rather than prescribing antidepressants which increase depression?
Why don’t doctors take a real role in helping people to live better lives?
Why do they set up these protocols of pills that most of them would not take?
Why aren’t we being helped to be healthy before we get sick?
This needs to change!
We just are not getting the right information!
(Tom: My answer to this is that their are two main factors holding this situation in place. Each act to hold the current situation in balance.
1. Doctors receive either no or next to no training on food, herbs and other ways to restore optimal bodily function, they are trained purely on the allopathic handling of disease with drugs as the optimal solution and most do not observe past this training as their income depends on them following that rule book. There’s an old saying from Upton Sinclair — ‘It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.’
‘Tis a courageous man who casts aside his vested interest to look purely. Too few doctors are that courageous.
2. Most people are looking for a quick fix and are not prepared to do what is necessary to restore optimal health naturally.
Most people regard doctors as infallible demi-Gods whose word is to be taken as gospel. It is not until that belief is shaken by mistakes or errors in their personal treatment or that of someone close to them do many of them start to awaken from this apparent hypnosis.
Most people are where they are because they do not want hard enough to be somewhere else. This includes their knowledge, their income, their friends, wealth, weight and health. Hippocrates said, “If someone wishes for good health, one must first ask oneself if he is ready to do away with the reasons for his illness. Only then is it possible to help him.”)
