I received this in a newsletter from Hays Films…

100% of California wines tested contained toxic glyphosates…

The advocacy group Moms Across America sent 10 samples of wine in to be tested by Microbe Infotech Lab in St. Louis…

The samples came from vineyards of all sizes—from very small to very large operations… The vineyards included those that use modern agricultural practices—as well as those that are “organic.”

They ALL tested positive for glyphosates.

Even the ones that had never been sprayed with Roundup (the trade name of Monsanto/Bayer’s toxic glyphosate herbicide)…

Levels were much higher in crops that were sprayed directly with pesticides and herbicides—but even those that were not fell victim to the reckless use of these toxins on our food supply…

Here’s another interesting tidbit…

Glyphosate is patented as an antibiotic… So, as if the fact that it’s a known carcinogen isn’t enough, we can be sure that it’s also disrupting our microbiomes…

Studies have shown that it favors harmful bacteria growth while inhibiting the good stuff…

Obviously, it’s becoming harder and harder to avoid glyphosates without sourcing food from remote farms—far away from “modern” agricultural practices…

Loving this result! Couldn’t happen to a better target.

Bayer’s stock price hit an almost seven-year low Tuesday, in the wake of a third U.S. jury verdict that found its Roundup weedkiller to be a cause of people’s cancer.

A Californian jury said Monday that Bayer had to pay Alva and Alberta Pilliod, both of whom had used the herbicide that Bayer acquired via Monsanto last year, $2 billion in punitive damages and $55 million in compensatory damages. The Pilliods both have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The level of punitive damages may be reduced on appeal, but right now it’s the eighth-biggest product-defect jury award in U.S. history.

Internal CSIRO correspondence reveals the science agency was pushed to formally accept the Federal Government’s approval of Adani’s water plans in a single afternoon.

Internal CSIRO correspondence explicitly shows the agency went out of its way to avoid giving any categorical scientific advice on Adani’s plans.

A letter from the CSIRO to the environmental department noted other concerns were yet to be addressed.

The emails obtained by the ABC also show how rushed the CSIRO was to provide its “formal assent” to the department.

Despite the Government saying Australia’s top science agencies “confirmed” Adani’s water plans had “met strict scientific requirements”, the emails show CSIRO was determined not to give a “categoric” response.

The correspondence obtained by the ABC through freedom of information laws exposes further discrepancies between what the Government said about the assessment of Adani’s environmental plans, and what actually occurred.

The newly uncovered emails follow hand-written notes from Geoscience Australia, obtained by the ABC in April, showing Adani refused to accept several of its recommendations, counter to what the Government said at the time.

At a recent conference, OSHA administrator David Michaels told attendees that workers on communications towers face a significantly higher rate of workplace deaths — reportedly 25 to 30 times the normal rate.

Of the hazards, the most poorly understood is the potential for exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation. That’s especially an issue with towers that include multiple types of antennas, each of them transmitting and/or receiving RF signals at different frequencies and intensities. Even if workers are not touching those antennas, they may be performing tasks in close enough proximity to be exposed to amounts of RF signals that exceed safe levels for exposure by humans. That’s why most towers have signs warning of RF exposure hazards.

The most immediate danger related to excessive RF exposure is its ability to heat biological tissue very quickly. Microwave ovens use the same principle to cook food in very short timeframes. Given that human skin and organs are made up of tissue, high levels of RF can quickly cause physical damage. While the body can protect itself by some degree by using blood flow to regulate temperatures and dissipate localized heat, the eyes and the testes lack those mechanisms, making them prone to heat damage.

There is also some speculation that long-term exposure to even low levels of RF radiation could lead to development of tumors and certain cancers. Although some animal tests have supported a connection, there hasn’t been any definitive scientific evidence that those working around RF radiation face a greater risk of cancer or tumors.

To read the English-speaking media, you’d never know that Bayer (BAYRY) just paid “tens of millions” of dollars to end a three-decade long scandal in which the company sold HIV-contaminated blood products to haemophiliacs, thousands of whom later died of AIDS.

Ironically, Bayer’s new haemophilia iPhone app got some coverage, as did Bayer’s haemophilia research grant to the University of Florida. But you have to pick through the French and Italian news media to find out that Bayer is finally writing checks to people who got AIDS because, in the 1980s, the Cutter Biological unit of Bayer ignored federal law to recruit prisoners, intravenous drug users, and high-risk gay men as donors of the blood Cutter then used to make Factor VIII and IX, the clotting product that haemophiliacs need in order to not bleed to death.
