Hitchhiking

Shared from my friend Diane Austin

Picked up a hitchhiker the other night…

Hitchhiker; aren’t you afraid that I might be a serial killer or something?

Me; No way! Do you know the odds, of one serial killer, picking up another serial killer?

Man is left unable to speak, walk, see or even BREATHE less than two days after getting the flu jab

Shane Morgan got the flu shot on November 2nd. And he was left unable to speak, walk, see or even breathe less than two days afterwards.

Shane started complaining that he couldn’t feel his legs or arms so his wife rushed him to Centennial Hills Hospital, where he spent 4-days on a ventilator in the ICU.

According to doctors, the shot gave him Guillain-Barré Syndrome, considered a “very rare” side effect by the CDC. And they’re still warning us that we NEED the flu shot to save our lives.

It’s a rare disorder where a person’s immune system damages their nerve cells, in some cases turning deadly.

The Morgan’s say they’re sure the flu shot is what triggered it.

“I never dreamed that any of this could ever happen,” Shane said from his hospital bed.

According to the CDC, there is a link between the flu shot and GBS, but it’s extremely rare. Statistics show 1 to 2 people develop GBS from the flu shot per 1-million vaccinations.

Officials with the Southern Nevada Health District say the risk of developing GBS is actually higher if you catch the flu.

“The benefit from the flu vaccine greatly overcomes any specific rare condition like this one that might happen,” said Fermin Leguen, Chief Medical Officer with the Health District.

However, for the Morgans it’s just not worth the risk.

“He’d take the flu ten to one,” Monique said.

Interrupted by Shane who said, “I’d take the flu three times a season than to have to do this once in a lifetime.”

They say no one in their family will get the flu shot ever again.

The health district says this story shouldn’t deter people from getting the flu shot, they say it saves lives.

Here’s the truth. While this syndrome is a rare side effect, there are tons of common serious side effects from the flu shot. And you’ll never hear them from your doctor… because doctors aren’t told about them.

World’s first no-kill eggs go on sale in Berlin

An estimated 4-6 billion male chicks are slaughtered globally every year because they serve no economic purpose. Some are suffocated, others are fed alive into grinding or shredding machines to be processed into reptile food.

The culling is a messy solution to a thorny problem of modern poultry farming. Humans have bred chickens for one of two purposes: to produce eggs, or meat. Yet half of all the animals bred for this purpose are considered useless. Male chicks lay no eggs and don’t grow fast enough to justify the cost of feeding them up for meat. So, they are simply destroyed.

The world’s first ever no-kill eggs are now on sale in Berlin after German scientists found an easy way to determine a chick’s gender before it hatches, in a breakthrough that could put an end to the annual live shredding of billions of male chicks worldwide.

Prenatal vitamin D deficiency linked to increased risk for schizophrenia

Despite being simple and inexpensive to address, vitamin D deficiency is epidemic around the world, and evidence suggests vitamin D deficiency during pregnancy plays an important role in the development of several chronic health problems, and raises the risk of complications for the mother as well.

For example, research1 by GrassrootsHealth shows 40 to 60 percent of preterm births could be prevented by raising pregnant women’s vitamin D to a level of 40 nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL). Vitamin D optimization also reduces the mother’s risk of preeclampsia, gestational diabetes and prenatal infections by approximately 50 percent.

Research also confirms there is a lifelong impact for children born of vitamin D deficient mothers, ranging from childhood allergies and more frequent colds and flu, to a greater risk for diabetes, autism, strokes, cardiovascular disease, and, as recently confirmed, schizophrenia — a mental condition characterized by hallucinations, delusions and cognitive impairment.

Acetaminophen (in Tylenol and Panadol) Damages the Brain, Dulls Emotions

If you have Panadol or Tylenol in your cupboard, throw it out! This data from an rticle by William Parker, an Associate Professor at Duke University.

  1. A Spanish study from 2016 shows a link between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and ADHD/autism.
  2. Studies in animal models (both in mice and in rats) demonstrate that acetaminophen use during a sensitive period of brain development causes long-term alterations in the brain and is manifested as problems with social function.
  3. Eight published studies evaluated the long terms effects on children of acetaminophen use during pregnancy or during childhood. All 8 studies point in the same direction: Acetaminophen is neurotoxic to the developing brain.
  4. Acetaminophen substantially alters brain chemistry and temporarily impairs awareness of social issues in adult humans.
  5. Testing of acetaminophen safety in children did not include any evaluation of brain function, and no long-term studies were ever conducted. The primary manufacturer of acetaminophen in the US acknowledges that the drug has never been shown to be safe for brain development when used during pregnancy or in childhood. All safety tests were performed with the assumption that any side effects would be acute in nature (e.g., bleeding or acute organ damage). This assumption was based on observations made with acetaminophen in adults and with aspirin in children. It was not based on any experience with acetaminophen use in children.
  6. Chittaranjan Andrade, Chair of Psychopharmacology at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore, India, has written a peer reviewed paper on the topic of acetaminophen induced brain damage. He nicely summarized a number of studies looking at the connection between acetaminophen and neurological damage. His final conclusion is that the drug is probably more associated with ADHD than autism, but the conclusion was limited to exposure during pregnancy and his work was conducted before some critical studies were published in 2016.
  7. A recent study found that its use dulls pleasure as well as pain. “That a drug purported to relieve negative evaluations of pain also reduces positive evaluations of pleasant stimuli suggests the existence of a common evaluative psychological process that influences a wide range of thoughts and behaviors. This might mean, for instance, that certain methods designed to specifically alter individuals’ reactivity to negative stimuli (e.g., treatment of phobias) could, if too broadly applied, potentially change their sensitivity to emotionally evocative stimuli more generally, including positive events (e.g., causing them to feel less joy at a wedding). It is interesting that such diminished evaluation sensitivity could also presumably cause people to feel less conflicted, indecisive, or uncomfortable when they experience ambivalence toward individuals or experiences that elicit both negative and positive reactions (e.g., Priester & Petty, 1996; Rydell & Durso, 2012).”
