Is your life a race or a journey?

Been there, done that.

Not often enough I lie in bed on a Saturday or Sunday morning and consider the events of the week. When I do it can be very worth while. At least I think so.
The week my mind got to wandering over some of the things I read and a few conversations I had with people close to me and I arrived at a clear, clean statement of what I consider to be the product of a parent.
A sane, healthy, ethical, educated, intelligent, competent, productive member of society who has goals towards which they are working, knows what their basic purpose is in life and is working in that field and improves the conditions of their own life and of those around them. The ultimate objective being a person who achieved their goals in life and for whom people were happy they lived.
