Marine Corps Major General Smedly Butler said “All wars are banker’s wars.” There is now a great video by that name.

This is because our lowest ability is the ability to confront evil. This is one reason people with bad intentions get away with it for as long as they do. So if we want a better society it means we have to raise our confront level.

Hard to grasp how farsighted were some of the writers of years past, how they could accurately predict future scenarios. I guess it shows how well they understood their fellow man.
