Doubling the Risk of Stroke—A Harmful Consequence of Marijuana Use

Doctor And Patient

It seems that everywhere we look, there is another story on marijuana, another slew of opinions, always taking one side or the other, usually debating over emotions and morals as opposed to science and facts.

Marijuana use is becoming more common, particularly among youth. And that is something to be concerned about. We still don’t know all of the long-term implications of marijuana use and many of the short term ones are painfully obvious.

Well, let me rephrase that. We are just now starting to learn what some of the long-term effects of marijuana are, especially when people start using marijuana at a young age. The results are pretty concerning.

A recent article in U.S. News brought forth new information that not only is marijuana harmful for many obvious reasons but that the frequent use of marijuana also doubles users’ likelihood of experiencing a stroke. And that’s just the first half of the story. Marijuana users are also twice as likely to be hospitalized for dangerously erratic heart rhythms.

This information comes from two separate studies, both of which were recently presented for peer review at the American Heart Association meeting in Philadelphia.

Science proves that vaccines SPREAD infectious disease, causing up to 15 times MORE infections among fully vaccinated children

A new peer-reviewed scientific paper published in the journal Tropical Diseases, Travel Medicine and Vaccines has found that the DTaP vaccine for diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough) is causing children who receive it to become more prone to contracting whooping cough later on in life.

According to the study, children who receive the entire DTaP series of vaccinations are up to 15 times more likely to contract whooping cough at the five-year mark following these jabs compared to unvaccinated children, completely obliterating the myth that whooping cough outbreaks are the result of “anti-vaxxers.”

As it turns out, the vast majority of children being affected by pertussis outbreaks are vaccinated children, which some health authorities are reluctantly admitting. Even so, pro-vaxxers are insistent that all disease spread is caused by unvaccinated children, despite the fact that science continues to prove otherwise.

What’s more, the DTaP vaccine, along with many other vaccines, fails to provide permanent protection against disease – assuming they provide any protection at all. As reported in the same aforementioned DTaP study, pertussis antibodies experience a “rapid decline” in as little as 2-3 years post-vaccination, “often to pre-vaccination levels.”

SARS Virus Patent

SARS Virus Patent

Chris Kirckof posted:
“So let me get this straight about this virus

It’s ‘new’ yet it was lab created and patented in 2015 (in development since 2003).

The patent expired today, on the day the first case is announced in the US.

The patent also tells us the CDC helped make this! “This invention was made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an agency of the United States Government. Therefore, the U.S. Government has certain rights in this invention.”

And now magically a vaccine is in the works for it already? Yet the patent in 2015 already references a vaccine for it.

But what do I know? I’m just a conspiracy theorist.”

Weeds More Nutritious Than Veggies

Weeds More Nutritious Than Veggies

Researchers from the University of California Berkeley have identified 52 edible weeds growing in abundance in the poorest neighborhoods of San Francisco, surrounded by busy roads and industrial zones.

At least six of them are more nutritious than kale, according to a new study.

The three low-income neighborhoods the researchers studied have been classified as “urban food deserts” — meaning they are more than a mile from the nearest shop that sells fresh produce.

Of the 52 species of wild-growing “weeds” they found, they tested six for nutrition content:

Chickweed
Dandelion
Dock
Mallow
Nasturtium
Oxalis

All six were more nutritious, by most accounts, than kale – arguably the most nutritious domesticated leafy greens.

The weeds boasted more dietary fiber, protein, vitamin A, calcium, iron, vitamin K, and provided more energy.

Tom: Given from where they were sourced I would have liked them to do toxin testing too!

15 apps parents should look out for on their kids’ phones

15 Apps

During his press conference last week, the sheriff listed 15 apps as ones that parents need to know about. (Six of them were used by suspected predators who were recently arrested.)

The first is ‘MeetMe,’ an app where teens can easily be in contact with users much older than them, with an emphasis on dating.
‘WhatsApp’ and ‘SnapChat’ are for messaging, but what you should know is teens can send unlimited messages, have video chats and even share their live location with other users, people they may not even know.
‘Skout’ is a flirting app that’s used to meet and chat with new people. Teens and adults are in different groups, but ages aren’t verified.
‘TikTok’ is used for sharing user created videos that can contain bad words, even adult content.
‘Badoo’ and ‘Bumble’ are dating apps for adults, but teens can still find ways to join.
‘Grindr’ is geared towards the LGBTQ community. It allows users to share photos and meet up based on phone’s GPS location.
‘Kik’ is specifically for kids, but anyone can join and anyone can contact or direct message your child.
‘LiveMe’ is a live streaming app, but you don’t know who’s watching and your kids location is revealed.
‘Holla’ is all about connecting strangers around the world through video chat. Enough said.
‘Whisper’ is a social confessional where kids can remain anonymous, but still share their feelings. And it can reveal your child’s location for a meet up.
‘ASKfm’ encourages people to allow anonymous users to ask them questions, which opens the door for online bullying.
‘Hot or Not’ rates users on attractiveness.. There’s no age verification and users can send each other messages.
And lastly, ‘Calculator%’ apps are several secret apps that allows kids to hide their photos, videos, even browser history.
