Panadol

(Tom: I received this from a client. Please make your own investigations.)

My husband was working in a hospital as an IT engineer, as the hospital is planning to set up a database of its patients and he knows some of the doctors quite well. The doctors used to tell him that whenever they have a headache, they are not willing to take PANADOL/ PARACETAMOL.

In fact, they will turn to herbal medicine or find other alternatives. This is because Panadol is toxic to the body, and it harms the liver. According to the doctor, Panadol will remain in the body for at least 5 years.

And according to the doctor, there was an air-hostess who consumed lots of Panadol as she needed to stand all the time and work under lots of pressure. She’s now in her early 30’s, and she is undergoing kidney cleaning (DIALYSIS) every month.

Whenever we have a headache, that’s because it is due to the electron / Ion imbalance in the brain.

An alternative solution to cope with this matter is to drink lots of water.

Another method will be to submerge your feet in a basin of warm water so that it brings the blood pressure down from your throbbing head.

As Panadol is a pain killer, the morePanadol you take, the lower would be your threshold for pain (your endurance level for pain). We all will fall ill as we age.

Imagine that we had spent our entire life popping quite a substantial amount of Panadol (painkiller), when you need to have a surgery or operation, you will need a much higher amount of general anaesthesia.

If you have a very high intake of Panadol throughout your life (for migraine, menstrual cramps etc) it is very likely that normal general anaesthetics will have no effects on you as your body is pumped / full with
Panadol and your body is so used to painkillers that you would need a much stronger painkiller, like morphine?

The thought is scary enough to turn me to herbal medicine or other healthier alternatives. Value your health, value your life, THINK TWICE before you easily pop that familiar pill into your mouth again.

Please don’t take PANADOL always.

Zorba The Greek Ballet Performance

Zorba The Greek

The person who posted wrote: This ballet performance really filled me with the spirit of youth and adventure, which was just what I needed today! Based on the 1940s novel, Zorba The Greek is a ballet that tells the story of a young intellectual who escapes his life of dry books by meeting the charismatic and mysterious old man, Alexis Zorba. You can really see what it means to that erstwhile bored student to finally experience the world in all its glory. The way the tune builds up here is quite mesmerizing and very exciting to listen to.

Nine Important Facts To Remember As We Grow Older:

#9 Death is the number 1 killer in the world.
#8 Life is sexually transmitted.
#7 Good health is merely the slowest possible rate
at which one can die.
#6 Men have 2 motivations: hunger and hanky-panky, and they can’t tell them apart. If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich.
#5 Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the Internet and they won’t bother you for weeks, months, maybe years – unless you give them your email address.
#4 Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing.
#3 All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays absolutely no attention to criticism.
#2 In the 60’s, people took LSD to make the world weird.  Now the world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.
#1 Life is like a jar of jalapeno peppers.   What you do today may be a burning issue tomorrow.

Alzheimer’s 16 mg Breakthrough? A Supplement Like No Other

Dr Mercola writes:

It’s not just another supplement; it’s a powerful agent that can both ‘accept and donate’ electrons – and treat everything from mental health disorders to acute medical emergencies. Clinical trials have even reported an astounding eighty percent reversal of Alzheimer’s symptoms.

Few substances have captured my attention as profoundly as methylene blue. Earlier this year, I engaged in an in-depth discussion with Georgi Dinkov, a respected expert in metabolic health, who shed light on the multifaceted benefits of this remarkable compound.

Methylene blue, a quinone-like molecule, is not just another supplement; it’s a powerful agent that can play an important role in cellular metabolism. By accepting and donating electrons, methylene blue enhances mitochondrial function, addressing issues like reductive stress that are often overlooked in conventional medicine.

This conversation with Dinkov highlights methylene blue’s role in reaching optimal health and treating a myriad of conditions, ranging from mental health disorders to acute medical emergencies.

  • Methylene blue enhances cellular energy production by integrating into the electron transport chain, cycling between oxidized and reduced forms to improve mitochondrial efficiency and resolve metabolic issues
  • Clinical trials show methylene blue’s role in treating neurological conditions, including slowing progression of Alzheimer’s at doses of 16 mg daily
  • Studies indicate methylene blue’s effectiveness in treating septic shock, reducing mortality rates, shortening hospital stays and improving blood pressure without significant adverse effects
  • Research reveals methylene blue’s anticancer properties, particularly in chemoresistant ovarian tumors, by selectively targeting cancer cell mitochondria while sparing healthy cells from damage
  • Safe dosage ranges from 5 mg to 50 mg daily, but requires medical supervision due to potential interactions with SSRIs and risks for those with kidney issues or G6PD deficiency

Menopause Myths vs Facts

Laura Frontiero writes:

Let’s play a quick game of “Myth or Fact” about midlife hormones.

For each statement below, note to yourself whether you think it’s a fact or a myth:

Hot flashes are inevitable and uncontrollable.

Putting on the pounds is just part of getting older.

Your libido is destined to disappear.

Mood swings are all in your head.

Osteoporosis is an unavoidable part of aging for women.

Ready for your results?

Answer: They’re ALL myths!

The truth is, while hormone changes are a natural part of aging, the symptoms women experience aren’t set in stone.

Your midlife journey doesn’t have to be a wild, uncontrollable ride.

Debunking the Midlife Hormone Myths

Let’s get into some real talk about what’s happening in your body:

Hot flashes: They can be triggered by specific foods or environmental factors that we can identify and manage. While common, they’re not inevitable for all women.

Stubborn fat: Being unable to drop pounds (especially around the middle) could be linked to insulin resistance or thyroid issues, both of which are treatable. Regular exercise and a balanced diet can help manage your physique.

Low libido: Often, it’s more about stress and sleep quality than an inevitable decline. Hormonal changes can affect desire, but it’s not a predestined outcome.

Mood swings: They’re real and often tied to estrogen and progesterone fluctuations that we can balance naturally.

Osteoporosis: While the risk increases with age, osteoporosis is not inevitable. Weightbearing exercises, adequate calcium and vitamin D intake, and a healthy lifestyle can significantly reduce your risk.

The biggest midlife myth of all? That you just have to grin and bear it.

Natural Strategies That Work

There are numerous natural, effective ways to manage your symptoms and restore balance:

Optimize your meals: Focus on anti-inflammatory foods, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats to support hormone production and reduce symptoms.

Enhance sleep quality: Establish a consistent sleep routine and create a cool, dark sleeping environment to improve sleep and reduce night sweats.

Manage stress: Incorporate stress-reduction techniques like meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises to balance cortisol levels and improve overall hormonal health.

Support your thyroid: Ensure you consume enough iodine, selenium, and zinc to support healthy thyroid function and metabolism.

Consider natural supplements: Herbs like black cohosh, red clover, and dong quai are beneficial in managing menopausal symptoms for some women.

Pepper Spray Alternative

I know some of you own GUNS but this is something to think about…
If you don’t have a gun, here’s a more humane way to wreck someone’s evil plans for you.  Did you know this? I didn’t. I never really thought of it before. I guess I can get rid of the baseball bat.
Wasp Spray – A friend who is a receptionist in a church in a high risk area was concerned about someone coming into the office on Monday to rob them when they were counting the collection. She asked the local police department about using pepper spray and they recommended to her that she get a can of wasp spray instead.
The wasp spray, they told her, can shoot up to twenty feet away and is a lot more accurate, while with the pepper spray, they have to get too close to you and could overpower you. The wasp spray temporarily blinds an attacker until they get to the hospital for an antidote. She keeps a can on her desk in the office and it doesn’t attract attention from people like a can of pepper spray would. She also keeps one nearby at home for home protection. Thought this was interesting and might be of use.
On the heels of a break in and beating that left an elderly woman in Toledo dead, self defense experts have a tip that could save your life.
Val Glinka teaches self defense to students at Sylvania Southview High School.  For decades, he’s suggested putting a can of wasp and hornet spray near your door or bed.
Glinka says, “This is better than anything I can teach them.”
Glinka considers it inexpensive, easy to find, and more effective than mace or pepper spray. The cans typically shoot 20 to 30 feet; so if someone tries to break into your home, Glinka says, “Spray the culprit in the eyes.”  It’s a tip he’s given to students for decades.
It’s also one he wants everyone to hear If you’re looking for protection, Glinka says look to the spray.  “That’s going to give you a chance to call the police; maybe get out.”  Maybe even save a life.
Please share this with all the people who are precious to your life.
Did you also know that wasp spray will kill a snake? And a mouse! It will!  Good to know, huh? It will also kill a wasp!!
