Please check out the alternatives to the treasonous Liberal/Labor/Greens that got us into our current mess. This is one:

Dear Tom,

Elections in Victoria, NSW and nationally will all be decided by May next year

There has been a groundswell of support for minor parties such as the Liberal Democrats over the last four general elections. Many people find it difficult to choose between Labor, Labor-lite and the Greens.

This has resulted in the Senate and upper houses of the Victorian, NSW and WA parliaments having a number of minor party members who, at times, hold the balance of power. The Liberal Democrats are represented in the federal Senate and the WA upper house.

The Liberal Democrats are determined to put further pressure on governments pursuing our party principles of small government, lower taxation, reduced spending and personal freedom.

What does this really mean?

Smaller government – winding back government by reducing the size of the public service, less interference in people’s lives, plus less red tape and regulation
Lower taxation – a fairer, flat tax system that leaves more of your money in your pocket
Reduced spending – this means actively reducing spending of taxpayer funds on unnecessary grants, programs, agencies and government boondoggles
Personal freedom – crushing the nanny state so that state and federal governments leave us to choose how we live our lives. If we are not causing harm to anyone else, the government should not be interfering.

For more of our long-standing principles and policies, see here

This November the Liberal Democrats will be fighting a state election in Victoria, in March next year we will fight a state election in NSW, and we will fight a federal election by mid-May.

We will be campaigning in all states and need your help to get us across the line.

The party has done a great job quadrupling its membership since I was first elected in 2013. It has also upgraded its community engagement, database systems and established a fundraising program to support its aims of gaining representation in each state.

Yours sincerely,

David Leyonhjelm

Liberal Democrats National President

P.S Please listen to this short message I recorded and consider an investment in the future of the country.

What Men and Women Need to Know About Testosterone

Active Seniors

We’ve previously explored the importance of testosterone in depth. It provides energy and zest for life, increases muscle mass and decreases fat, and improves libido and sex performance. As your testosterone levels drop over time, all of those benefits do a 180 and go into the negative. In other words, you start aging at an accelerated rate. Today, however, we’re going to look at some different aspects that weren’t covered in that newsletter. We’re also going to examine the issue of free VS bound testosterone in more detail. And we’re then going to look at some recent studies and what they have to say about the benefits and risks of actual testosterone supplementation–as well as the truth behind them. And finally, we’re going to take a look at how, in most cases, you can maximize the benefits and minimize the risks associated with testosterone supplementation by instead reactivating your body’s ability to produce its own testosterone and optimizing your levels of bioavailable testosterone VS adding testosterone with a doctor’s prescription.

Prostate Health

Prostate Health

Prostate health, what is it and should you care? Yes absolutely you should care! Did you know that 50% of western males 50 years and over experience the symptoms of an enlarged prostate? This is primarily due to hormonal changes taking place in the body, as it ages, which causes the prostate to enlarge (This is one theory among a few).

Fortunately, if you’re experiencing symptoms of prostate enlargement it does not always mean that you have prostate cancer. Most likely it will be a benign enlargement, also called benign prostatic hyperplasia. If you’re experiencing any of the symptoms listed below, please see your doctor asap.

A Doctor and a Microbiologist on Vaccines

“Vaccination is based on the long-discredited theory that stimulation of antibodies in the human body equals protection from disease. This theory has not only failed to be proved, but has been repeatedly disproved. Stimulation of antibodies does not equal immunity and certainly does not equal permanent immunity. The presence of antibodies is merely a sign of exposure to a disease, which is just one small aspect of what makes up the immune system. Children, with underdeveloped and immature immune systems, receive today about 25 separate vaccines by the age of 13 months. There is no doubt this irresponsible system disrupts and can even destroy the development of their immune systems forever.”

Dr. Majid Katme

“I do believe that a vaccine can, under some circumstances, provide temporary ‘immunity’ or protection from an infectious pathogen, however that is where my faith in inoculation ends. Vaccines were never intended to be the first-line of defense against infectious disease nor were they intended to be provided under such an aggressive immunization schedule. As most of you are aware, the development of modern sanitation has contributed far more to limit the spread of disease than the vaccine.

My greatest issue with the current vaccine schedule is that it fuels the fire of viral mutation. Consider the 2015 measles outbreak at Disneyland. It had nothing to do with the un-vaccinated, but rather a very simple process of an accelerated morbillivirus mutation. Why do you think we alter the flu vaccine every year? Viruses mutate naturally, but do so at a greatly accelerated rate when threatened by the antigens provided through the vaccination process. At some point the rate of mutation will surpass our ability to develop a vaccine. If this occurs there will be nothing left to stem the advance of the disease.

And herd immunity is grossly misunderstood. True herd immunity can only result from a healthy, fully functioning immune system. Vaccines cannot confer “herd immunity” because vaccines only stimulate one of the two essential elements of the immune system. In the vaccinated, the body’s natural immune response is impaired, and the antibodies are not as strong as they would have been had the virus passed through the immune system in a ‘natural’ manner, therefore leading to an ever-increasing reliance on developing more vaccinations.
Unfortunately, the immune response mounted by the vaccine is enough to trigger mutation in the attacking virus. I too want herd immunity, but it will never be achieved through vaccination. Why are so many booster shots necessary to bring antibody titers up to serologically acceptable levels? Does this not indicate that our current science does not yet allow us to formulate an injection that mimics naturally acquired and lifelong immunity? The current truth is it is impossible to create permanent immunity through the artificial induction of a vaccine.

Many of the infectious diseases we immunize against are simply a result of poor hygiene and or septic recycling systems, unnatural diets, metabolic congestion (especially liver) and persistent immune suppression via pharmaceuticals. These infections are natural in these environments and in many cases, designed and created by and within the body itself to carry out a janitorial duty by infecting and removing all cells of poor integrity so the body can be revitalized by their new replacements. There is enough evidence to prove that vaccines diminish the integrity of every cell in the body and exacerbate the need for a deeper, more widespread infection at a future time.

Mass vaccination is, in my opinion, bad science at best and will eventually lay waste to any natural immunity of humans at worst. The only way to ensure lasting and permanent immunity is through a truly healthy “herd” which is the complete antithesis of a drug dependent population that find themselves unable to fight any infection naturally. First, we abuse the antibiotic and witness the birth of the super-bug. A mutated strain 100% drug resistant and now through the abuse and overuse of the vaccine we are forcing the antigenic drift and accelerated mutation of the virus.

And for proof? I have compiled much research over the years, but it is not possible to point you to a single study or a ‘smoking gun’. It took me several years to unravel the dogma that I was taught and accepted early in my career.

I don’t know all the answers, but I am certain we are not asking enough of the right questions. I know many doctors, nurses, researchers, chemists and fellow microbiologist who do not “tow the party line” when it comes to the “science” of vaccines. The science is not settled and anyone in the medical community who attempts to convince you otherwise is either willfully deceitful or woefully ignorant. We have chosen to roll the dice and gamble with our health.

What will save us from disease when this Ponzi scheme of mass vaccination and symptom management collapses? I fear we will be left with nothing to defend ourselves against invading pathogens because we all chose to remain ignorant rather than integrate the truth while we still had a chance. Because we chose to consume antibiotics like candy and prescribe them for everything under the sun…we chose to believe that vaccination would magically provide us immunity because many of us were too lazy to learn how to build immunity naturally through diet and lifestyle or to learn the symptoms of environmental poisoning. We chose to numb the pain instead of addressing the cause of the pain. All of these short-sighted decisions will eventually circle back around and bite us all in the collective arse.
I truly hope we all wake up soon.”

Is a Lack of Good Bacteria in Your Gut Causing Your Health Issue?

Probiotics_And_Prebiotics

First, why should you read this? Because this data could restore and or protect your health and prolong your healthy life.

23rd October 2018 I watched a great webinar on intestinal health. It was from the same team who brought out the Longevity Project which was probably the best health series I’ve seen.

The data in it was very validating of my selection of the ingredients with which I make my nutrition powders and bars and helped explain some of the remarkable turnarounds people have reported after consuming them.

Here are some notes I quickly typed as it was rolling with some additions to aid your understanding.

And if you don’t think this applies to you, cop this! They took a group of university students in California with no health issues, measured their blood for the presence of pathogens that occur with leaky gut then gave them a meal. Three hours later they again took a blood sample from each and again tested for pathogens. A full 55% of those tested had an increase in pathogens indicating a leaky gut. What was also interesting was a graph shown that showed the ghrelin (the hormone that signals hunger) levels dipped nowhere near as much as they should. This leads people to feel hungrier sooner, to eat more and put on weight.

Now, some definitions so you don’t get tripped up.

Microbiome: A community of microorganisms (such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses) that inhabit a particular environment and especially the collection of microorganisms living in or on the human body.

Dysbiosis: Gr. biosis, living. An unhealthy change in the normal bacterial ecology of a part of body, e.g. of the intestines or the oral cavity.

Keystone species: In architecture, the keystone is the central supporting stone at the apex of an arch. The term “keystone” has been introduced in ecology to characterize species whose effects on their communities are disproportionately large relative to their abundance and which are thought to form the “keystone” of the community’s structure.

Keystone Bacteria: Those whose effect on the overall microbiome is disproportionately large. For instance a good example is the article titled “A single species of gut bacteria can reverse autism-related social behavior in mice” at

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/06/160616140723.htm

Mucosa: a membrane rich in mucous glands that lines body passages and cavities (as of the digestive, respiratory, and genitourinary tracts) which connect directly or indirectly with the exterior.

Avoiding gut bacteria dysbiosis:

High diversity of good bacteria is desirable

As are low levels of pathogens

A strong mucosal lining protects the intestinal wall

Low mucosal inflammation is optimal and retains

A strong, tight junctions between the cells of the intestinal lining.

A Chinese study of long lived people (over 90) showed they had a greater diversity of gut microbiome than peple in their 20s.

A high diversity of gut bacteria leads to better health and longer life

Overabundance of certain pathogens does the opposite

Low bacterial diversity and low keystone strains lead to low grade, chronic inflammation associated with most chronic illnesses:

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, autoimmune diseases, leptin resistance, diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, chronic constipation, brain inflammation leading to poor memory, brain fog, Alzheimer’s, low seratonin in central nervous system, anxiety, chronic pain, GERD, depression, anorexia nervosa, Hashimoto’s.

HIV patients actually die from mucosal dysfunction – leaky gut – that causes all the other ills.

A primary contributor to insulin resistance and diabetes is dysfunctional gut barrier. This can be caused by a single course of antibiotics.

LPS = lipopolysaccharides (toxins produced by gram negative bacteria) stimulate the release of pain signals to the brain as well as many other problems like Parkinson’s. This causes some people to have non=specific aches and pains for which no cause can be readily identified.

SSRIs (antidepressant drugs) also increase antibiotic resistance in the bowel.

Mucosa houses the immune response

First problem is a lack of diversity of good bacteria and an over abundance of bad bacteria which allows bad bacteria to degrade the mucsosa which generates the leaky gut.

Inflamed intestinal wall lining cells leads to leaky gut.

Leaky gut allows pathogens to pass the barrier and enter the blood stream.

Meta analysis papers show the following:

If we can intelligently moderate the bacterial community we can curb many conditions.

People with inflammatory bowel conditions (coeliac, IBS, Crohn’s, IBD) have low diversity.

We have natural protective mechanisms in our body to prevent many of the health problems from which we suffer.

We need to enhance and not disrupt them (with antibiotics and vaccines).

If we can fix the mucosal dysbiosis we can rectify many of the health issues that plague us.

Practical Solutions:

Stool tests are of little value – they don’t test diversity.

Antimicrobials to address those bad bacteria highlighted as present in a stool test make things worse as they also kill good guys.

Diversity and keystone strains are important but not measured in a stool test.

Immunoglobulin treatment (targets specific bacteria) can be very effective – IgG, IgM and IgA. Neutralise toxins.

Antioxidant therapy is also effective: Carotenoids, L-carnitine, lipoic acid, CoQ10, taurine etc.

Omega 3 fatty acids higher in EPA help with gut inflammation and increase two keystone bacteria: akkermansia and faecalibacterium.

Intermittent fasting also increases the akkermansia and faecalibacterium bacteria.

Two key prebiotics (oligosacharides) increase both.

Polyphenol (grapes, pears, apple, cherries and berries contain 200-300 mg of polyphenol per 100 grams) intake increases akkermansia.

Red wine, chocolates and coffee also help.

L-Glutamine and zinc help too.

Bacterial Spores can heal leaking gut in 30 days.

Fermented foods also increase the population of good bacteria in the gut.
