I have spoken to a few people who have a problem with water intake causing them to need to get up during the night to go to the bathroom. This obviously interrupts their sleep. I tell them the way I solved that for me is to get my 1.5-2 litres in prior to 6 pm then nothing till just before bed when I have a small glass of water. having a glass of water before retiring for the night helps reduce your heart attack risk.
