Hide the Veggies by Dr Anita Pepi

When someone in your family isn’t in love with vegetables, but does like a stronger-tasting food like tomato sauce or chili, try this.
Warm up your tomato sauce in a sauce pan and keep on a low heat to stay warm.
In your Vita-Mix blender, puree raw carrots, celery, and onion, with some extra tomato sauce until it is smooth. You want the quantity of the final pureed vegetable mix to be about 1/3 of the tomato sauce. For example, 1/3 cup veggies to 1 cup tomato sauce.
Turn the heat off the tomato sauce and mix the vegetable puree into the sauce pan. Do not boil the sauce as you will destroy vitamins and the digestive enzymes. Read the health tip on unheated food for more information on not cooking the nutrition out of your food.
Serve immediately over fish, turkey, chicken, or pasta.
It’s nutritious and delicious.

How and why you should fight ALL fines by an ex-Police Sergeant

My name is Stan. I am a retired Sergeant of Police in Victoria for 14 years. I was also a police prosecutor at times, so I know what I am talking about. I spent half my life in Magistrates Court during my time in the Force. I was only ever a very fair copper, and I am proud of my time in the job, looking after the interests of Victorians, often to the detriment of my family and my health.

Google Launches Link Disavow Tool

Back in June, during the height of the Penguin update freakout, Google’s Matt Cutts hinted that Google would launch a “link disavow” tool, so that webmasters can tell Google the backlinks they want Google to ignore. This means links from around the web that are potentially hurting a site’s rankings in Google could be ignored, and no longer count against the site in question. This is something that many webmasters and SEOs have wanted for a long time, and especially since the Penguin update launched earlier this year. On Tuesday, Google made these dreams come true by finally launching the tool, after months of anticipation.
