There is a lot of philosophical truth behind the good Chief’s words. It is true that you do not fear that which you can confront and with which you can communicate.
The job of the media is to make it all so bad over there that you cannot confront or communicate with it. But that just drags us downscale.

I stopped by the lounge on my way upstairs from the kitchen and saw a few minutes of the TV show The Big Bang Theory. Maybe because I had the high Intelligence Quotient low Emotional Quotient contrast on my mind but as I was resting for my next counselling session I got to thinking about a measurement scale for civilisations, cultures or countries.
You know how they have these assessment sheets for kids:
Plays well with peers
Respects other’s property
Respects other’s communications
Follows orders
Obeys rules
I wondered if anyone had ever come up with an assessment sheet for countries. Things like:
Does not invade other countries or infringe on their commercial rights
Respects other’s sovereignty, borders and territorial rights
Maintains fair trading relationships
Comes to aid of neighbouring countries in their need
Does not spy on their neighbours
Does not attempt to weaken or diminish the power, resources, population or culture of other sovereign states
Obeys international laws and signed treaties
Enhances rather than pollutes their own and international lands and waters and air
Preserves their indigenous peoples and cultures
Preserves and improves their environment
There would be few that scored well on such a scale methinks.
I think we need to formulate a better process for arriving at who we select to lead out countries as the current processes have not yielded the most desirable result! We need to start selecting leaders on the basis of an excellent production record of leadership and sustainable and viable expansion under their leadership.
That way we would stand a far better chance of having the culture outlive our grandchildren!
SkepticalScience, a blog spearheaded by climate science “consensus” advocate John Cook, is widely considered the explanatory guidebook for the anthropogenic global warming movement.
The blog claims that CO2 molecules collectively function similar to that of a blanket, in reducing the rate at which the human body cools down. The rate or time-lapse involved in this “slowing” of heat loss, however, is problematic to the paradigm that says CO2 drives global warming.
Going technical for a minute, Professor Nasif Nahle has discovered that the “mean free path” for a quantum wave to pass through the atmosphere before colliding with a CO2 molecule is about 33 meters (Nahle, 2011a), and such a wide gap between molecular collisions hardly conjures-up the image of CO2 functioning like a blanket.
And even more saliently, Nahle has mathematically assessed that the rate at which CO2 molecules can retain heat at the surface may only last about 0.0001 of a second (Nahle, 2011b) — meaning that the atmospheric CO2 concentration, whether it be 300 PPM or 400 PPM, effectively doesn’t matter — the time-lapse differential would be immaterial for either concentration.
Consequently, Nahle has concluded that “carbon dioxide has not an effect on climate changes or warming periods on the Earth” and his work has been endorsed by the Faculty of Physics of the University of Nuevo Leon (Mexico).

Data suggests that 6% of the U.S. population is harboring a retrovirus in their bodies that can develop into an acquired immune deficiency. This is not the well-known AIDS caused by HIV, but Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) associated with other retroviruses. These non-HIV retroviruses were unintentionally introduced into humans over the past 75 years.
It began with trials of polio vaccines and yellow fever vaccines given in the early 1930s. This is when the first recorded cases of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and autism appeared. It involved the use of laboratory mice to prepare vaccines for human use.

Retrovirus exposure intensified in the 1970s as new vaccines and pharmaceutical products were developed. These retroviruses and related infectious agents are now associated with dozens of modern chronic illnesses – perhaps nearly all of them. In these diseases, infection leads to inflammation — and unresolved inflammation can lead to chronic disease.
The list of diseases stretches from autism to cancer and from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to Alzheimer’s. The diseases cripple the development of the young, steal the productivity and enjoyment of life for adults, and provide a slow and withering death to the elderly.

The retroviruses being discussed are very clever and very stealthy. They can infect a person and stay with them for their entire lifetime. Sometimes they shorten life substantially. But, they are just as likely to bring a person to total disability and deny people the opportunity for a normal life.
Even though 20 million Americans are likely to be infected, not everyone will develop serious illness. Retroviruses in the human body are like sleeping giants. They are quiet until they are activated in immune deficient people.
Once activated, they create diseases such as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, also called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Chronic Lyme disease, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), numerous cancers, and a wide range of other autoimmune, neuroimmune, and central nervous system diseases. Retroviruses can Promote A Perfect Storm of Illness
The retroviruses being discussed here do not directly cause diseases by themselves. A perfect storm of events need to come together to create acquired immune system deficiency (non-HIV AIDS). When conditions are right, the viruses create unrelenting inflammatory processes that disrupt the immune system.
The perfect storm occurs when human DNA is disturbed by retroviruses, when there are co-infections, when there is severe shock or trauma, when hormones are dysregulated, when there are genetically modified organisms and glyphosate in the diet, when there are pesticides and other toxic substances in food and the environment, and when there are genetic susceptibilities.
If some or all of these conditions occur together, then the immune system will be weakened to the point where the perfect storm occurs, and people become ill with some type of modern chronic disease.
Not everyone who has retroviruses in their bodies will develop one of these diseases, but for those who experience a perfect storm the possibility is much greater. The risks increase with age as the immune system naturally weakens.
