Gluten-Free Breakfast Porridge Recipe

My wife ran out of her breakfast cereal so we made a batch Saturday for her. We did the following. Into a large mixing bowl we put
1 cup chia seeds soaked in 2 cups of water
1 cup of millet in 2 cups of water, simmer until water is gone then let cool before adding to the mix
Same for half a cup of quinoa in a cup of water
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 handful of organic diced apricots
1 handful of organic goji berries
2 dessert spoons of strawberry powder
Stir until mixed then put into resealable bags in freezer until the day of use. Thaw, heat and add blueberries for that extra antioxidant hit.

Are You At The Devil's Mercy?

Most people believe the devil lives far from them.
The mainstream media would have you believe evil
is three dictators on far off lands – the axis of evil.
In fact, the triumvirate of evil lives far closer to home.
At least from a health perspective.
It is an undereducated mind,
a weak backbone and
sugar loving taste buds.
If you love sweet things
and don’t know how poisonous is sugar
or do know but can’t resist the addiction,
then you are at the devil’s mercy.
