My Rationale

Because I create some of the healthiest food on the planet and post a lot on how to retain your health, it is purely from the perspective of properly maintaining this working physical universe engine/calling card called a body. Just I regularly get my car serviced and occasionally wash and vacuum it.

I would not put crap fuel in my petrol tank, not do I put a lot of it in my mouth.

I have no great frear for the safety of my car or body and care not for cautions to “stay safe” for that is for many a reason to eschew living.

Rather, I regard my body as a tool with which I make my presence known and communicate to others and accomplish things in the physical universe.

Alexandre says it better than I:

“So, preferring death to capture, I accomplished the most astonishing deeds, and which, more then once, showed me that the too great care we take of our bodies is the only obstacle to the sucess of those projects which require rapid decision, and vigorous and determined execution. In reality, when you have once devoted your life to your enterprises, you are no longer the equal of other men, or, rather, other men are no longer your equals, and whosoever has taken this resolution, feels his strength and resources doubled.” ― Alexandre Dumas

Wilderness

Anthropocentric as [the gardener] may be, he recognizes that he is dependent for his health and survival on many other forms of life, so he is careful to take their interests into account in whatever he does. He is in fact a wilderness advocate of a certain kind. It is when he respects and nurtures the wilderness of his soil and his plants that his garden seems to flourish most. Wildness, he has found, resides not only out there, but right here: in his soil, in his plants, even in himself…But wildness is more a quality than a place, and though humans can’t manufacture it, they can nourish and husband it…The gardener cultivates wildness, but he does so carefully and respectfully, in full recognition of its mystery.
