Fake People

Fake People

Another way of saying, “What other people think about you is none of your business.”

Or, perhaps more eloquently, “What other people think about you has more to do with them than you!”

I feel very grateful for the opportunities I have had this lifetime for self-development and enhancement. Those opportunities have improved me considerably from a very inauspicious beginning.

I consider two of the highest compliments I have received as follows. Three people have said to me, “You’re the most honest person I have met!”

And my son once said to me, “You’re very comfortable in your own skin.”

And while I know there is still work to be done polishing off rough edges, I have become a person I can like and I like others too.

So don’t let the naysayers convince you people cannot change. It’s just not true!

Cilantro Detoxes

Cilantro Detoxes

That’s one reason there is a goodly amount of it in NutriBlast Greens+ and even more in my Detox Blend!

Another Illogic

Baby Wondering

So let me get this straight. I go to the grocery store and buy a pound of sliced ham wrapped in plastic, a loaf of bread in a plastic bag, four liters of milk in a plastic bag, a pack of napkins wrapped in plastic, a Greek salad in a plastic container, a plastic bottle of mustard and a plastic bottle of ketchup, and they won’t give me a plastic bag to carry it home because the plastic bag is bad for the environment?

Yeah the illogic/hypocrisy hurts sometimes! Would not surprise me in years to come to find out it was backed by the supermarket chains with the purpose to reduce their bag costs.

Microwave Warning

A 26-year old man decided to have a cup of coffee. He took a cup of water and put it in the microwave to heat it up (something that he had done numerous times before). I am not sure how long he set the timer for, but he wanted to bring the water to a boil. When the timer shut the oven off, he removed the cup from the oven. As he looked into the cup, he noted that the water was not boiling, but suddenly the water in the cup ‘blew up’ into his face. The cup remained intact until he threw it out of his hand, but all the water had flown out into his face due to the build-up of energy . His whole face is blistered and he has 1st and 2nd degree burns to his face which may leave scarring.

He also may have lost partial sight in his left eye. While at the hospital, the doctor who was attending to him stated that this is a fairly common occurrence and water (alone) should never be heated in a microwave oven. If water is heated in this manner, something should be placed in the cup to diffuse the energy such as a wooden stir stick, tea bag, etc, (nothing metal).
