Scientists launch study to find out if COVID-19 vaccines are causing period changes after hundreds of women notice irregularities

Their periods had either come earlier usual, felt heavier or just appeared irregular. Clancy and Lee are now collecting data on cycle changes post-vaccination to see if there is any association between the two. Clancy first discussed her abnormal period in a tweet in late February after receiving the Moderna coronavirus vaccine.

“I’m curious whether other menstruators have noticed changes too?” she wrote. “I’m a week and a half out from dose 1 of Moderna, got my period maybe a day or so early, and am gushing like I’m in my 20s again.”

“I’m on day 3 of my period and am still swapping out extra long overnight pads a few times a day. Typical for me at this time is maybe one or two regular pads.” The tweet was liked more than 1,200 times and she received hundreds of replies from other women and people who menstruate documenting their unusual changes.

Just in case you wonder if those doctors speaking out against the “thoroughly tested” COVID vaccine are being a bit over dramatic in their sweeping condemnation of it, look at these statistics from the CDC. Also keep in mind that by their own commissioned research, only 1% of Vaccine Adverse Events are reported.

This isn’t an overreaction to Gates’ latest foray into the news cycle. It’s an observation based on a long pattern of statements and behavior by the founder of Microsoft and one of the richest men who has ever lived which, were any of us normal people guilty of them, would result in our being institutionalized.

A potentially fatal blood-clotting disease is 30 times more common among people who have received the Covid-19 vaccines produced by Moderna and Pfizer than those given the troubled AstraZeneca jab, researchers have found.

A team of scientists from the University of Oxford has found that after vaccination, Vaxzevria (formerly AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine) recipients were less likely to suffer portal vein thrombosis (PVT) – blood clots in the artery from the intestines to the liver.

For recipients of the viral vector Vaxzevria vaccine, the incidence rate for splanchnic thrombosis – clotting in the portal and other abdominal veins – is 1.6 per million people, according to data from the EU drugs regulator the European Medicines Agency (EMA). By contrast, some 44.9 cases of PVT per million people were seen among those who had been injected with the mRNA vaccines made by Moderna and Pfizer, the Oxford research, published on Thursday, said.
