Antibiotics – Double Edged Sword?

Antibiotics can help save lives, and using them kills off the bad bugs that give us sore throats and other infections. But at the same time antibiotics kill off good bugs in our bodies too. Traditional thinking was that once we’re off the antibiotics these good bacteria can re-grow; well maybe not according to Dr Martin Blaser from New York University.
