A leading world authority on sea levels, Dr Nils-Axel M\u00f6rner, past president (1999-2003) of the INQUA Commission on Sea Level Changes and Coastal Evolution, has slammed the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports on sea levels, pointing out that he had been an expert reviewer for the IPCC in both 2000 and 2006 and when he read an IPCC report, \u201cit had 22 authors, but none of them\u2014none\u2014were sea-level specialists.\u201d<\/p>\n

M\u00f6rner: \u201cthose people in the IPCC, choose Hong Kong, which has six tide gauges, and they choose the record of one, which gives 2.3 mm per year rise of sea level.
