America\u2019s favorite corporate virtue-signaling ritual is upon us.<\/p>\n<p>For 40 years now, we\u2019ve been told that \u201cawareness\u201d is the answer. Wear pink, run a 5K, buy a pink-ribboned product, and pat yourself on the back for joining the \u201cfight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the uncomfortable question nobody in the mainstream media wants to ask: What has all this pink actually accomplished?<\/p>\n<p>Breast cancer rates haven\u2019t gone down. They\u2019ve gone up. Fifty years ago, a woman faced a 1-in-20 lifetime risk. Today, that number has skyrocketed to 1 in 7. If \u201cawareness\u201d and \u201cearly detection\u201d were the answer, we should be winning by now.
