He provides a lot of good data (much of it I have heard before from other sources) on how to avoid Alzheimer&#8217;s and dementia in his sales pitch. Here is some of the data:<br \/>\nAccording to Dr Russell Blaycock, inflammation and excitotoxicity are primary causes of brain degenerative diseases like Alzheimer&#8217;s and dementia.<br \/>\nThese things increase brain inflammation and toxicity:<br \/>\nPesticides<br \/>\nHerbicides<br \/>\nToxins in air and water<br \/>\nArtificial additives in foods<br \/>\nOmega 6 Fatty Acids<br \/>\nAntibiotics<br \/>\nVaccines like flu shots that contain mercury<br \/>\nExcitiotoxins<br \/>\nHormone imbalances<br \/>\nArtificial sweeteners<br \/>\nWhat can you do?<br \/>\nBuy organic<br \/>\nWash produce before consuming it<br \/>\nParkinson&#8217;s and Alzhemer&#8217;s patients have low levels of Glutathione.<br \/>\nThese things reduce the brain&#8217;s level of Glutathione:<br \/>\nInfections<br \/>\nBrain injuries<br \/>\nMercury<br \/>\nLead<br \/>\nAluminiun<br \/>\nGlutamate<br \/>\nMSG (under all its various names)<br \/>\nElevated levels of homocysteine are also destructive.<br \/>\nFluoride increases aluminium absorption.<br \/>\nAvoid soy, sunflower, safflower and peanut oils.<br \/>\nIngesting omega 3s at least once a week reduces your risk of getting Alzheimer&#8217;s disease by 60&#038;!<br \/>\nB12<br \/>\nCurcumin<br \/>\nVitamin D3<br \/>\nQuercetin<br \/>\nCut back on sugars, destructive fats and simple carbs.<br \/>\nA high calorie diet rich in sugar and simple carbs results in an increased risk of 50%.<br \/>\nAdding high fat as well increases the risk by 250%!<br \/>\nOverexercising (aerobic) is harmful to the brain.
