Climate realist Tony Heller<\/a><\/em>\u00a0took to X to highlight the\u00a0climate misinformation and disinformation campaigns<\/strong>\u00a0waged by far-left corporate media on the global public.<\/p>\n

Heller referenced a\u00a02007 BBC News<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0article titled\u00a0“Arctic summers ice-free ‘by 2013’<\/a>,”<\/em>\u00a0which warned readers of the supposed threat that\u00a0“latest modeling studies indicate northern polar waters could be ice-free in summers within just 5-6 years.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The BBC article’s\u00a0baseless claim was designed to instill climate fears across the public to ram through a radical de-growth climate agenda across the Western world.<\/p>\n

Heller then cited\u00a0NOAA Sea Ice Extent<\/em>\u00a0data of the Arctic from Sept. 16, 2012, and Sept. 7, 2024, and found:<\/p>\n

“This year’s minimum Arctic sea ice extent was 26% larger than 2012<\/strong>. @BBCNews said the Arctic would be ice-free by 2013.”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
