These chemicals don\u2019t break down easily, so they stick around for decades \u2014 sometimes forever.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver time, winds and rain carry these \u2018forever chemicals\u2019 across oceans and continents until they land somewhere and begin accumulating,\u201d the Weather Network said.<\/p>\n<p>The chemicals can cause cancer, diabetes, infertility and immune system problems, among other issues.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/torontosun.com\/news\/world\/rainwater-not-safe-to-drink-even-in-remote-corners-of-the-globe-study\">https:\/\/torontosun.com\/news\/world\/rainwater-not-safe-to-drink-even-in-remote-corners-of-the-globe-study<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There\u2019s nowhere on Earth where rainwater is safe to drink, according to a new study.
