Dr. Jos\u00e9 Luis Domingo, who has served as editor-in-chief of a prestigious scientific journal, Food and Chemical Toxicology (FCT), for the past seven years, said that he has essentially been forced to resign.<\/p>\n
His\u00a0resignation<\/a>, he alleged, has come about because of gaping problems with scientific integrity and industry influence when it comes to scientific discussions about the safety of the\u00a0COVID-19 vaccines<\/a>.<\/p>\n Though Domingo has himself received three vaccinations (two AstraZeneca and one Pfizer), he told The Epoch Times that he has been bombarded with insults, threats, and accusations of being \u201canti-vaccine\u201d ever since he approved the publication of a\u00a0scientific paper<\/a>\u00a0that explores potential mechanisms of harm of injected synthetic mRNA.<\/p>\n Though he would have preferred to stay at the helm of the journal until the end of 2023 because he has several projects pending, Domingo has issued his resignation from the journal to maintain his scientific independence.<\/p>\n He told us he is first and foremost a scientist, and that he does not regret publishing the paper. Despite the attacks, he was not willing to give in to the pressure from the journal\u2019s publisher.<\/p>\n The journal\u2019s publisher, Jagna Mirska, did not respond to our request for an interview.<\/p>\n However, Domingo said that the journal has already picked a successor for his position\u2014someone with clear ties to the pharmaceutical industry: Bryan Delaney, Ph.D.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
