The Soviet dissident who went on to become the president of the Czech Republic&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Like you&#8217;re saying, he said the most powerful weapon against the state is parallel construction. More powerful that combat, protest, or anything else.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I have seen similar written elsewhere by Buckminster Fuller:<br \/>\n\u201cYou never change things by fighting the existing reality.<br \/>\nTo change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I have personally felt the inclination do do this by buying a farm and starting to gather a group of people into a self sufficient survival club of some description.
