{"id":34910,"date":"2021-09-29T09:54:18","date_gmt":"2021-09-28T23:54:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tomgrimshaw.com\/tomsblog\/?p=34910"},"modified":"2024-06-25T01:26:35","modified_gmt":"2024-06-24T15:26:35","slug":"fake-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomgrimshaw.com\/tomsblog\/?p=34910","title":{"rendered":"Fake People"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fake people have an image to maintain.<br \/>\nReal people have products to attain.<\/p>\n<p>Another way of saying,<br \/>\n&#8220;What other people think about you is none of your business.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Or, perhaps more eloquently,<br \/>\n&#8220;What other people think about you has more to do with them than you!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I feel very grateful for the opportunities I have had this lifetime for self-development and enhancement. Those opportunities have improved me considerably from a very inauspicious beginning.<\/p>\n<p>I consider two of the highest compliments I have received as follows. Three people have said to me, &#8220;You&#8217;re the most honest person I have met!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And my son once said to me, &#8220;You&#8217;re very comfortable in your own skin.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And while I know there is still work to be done polishing off rough edges, I have become a person I can like and I like others too.<\/p>\n<p>So don&#8217;t let the naysayers convince you people cannot change.
