Today\u2019s recipe is a quick, creamy and wonderful summer dessert my mom used to make when we were younger.<\/p>\n
Ingredients:
\n3 large egg yolks
\n2 cups whole milk
\n1 cup and half granulated sugar
\n1 cup cocoa powder
\n\u00bc cup cornstarch
\n1 tsp pure vanilla extract
\n1 cup white flour
\na pinch of salt<\/p>\n
Instructions:
\nStep 1 Beat egg yolks in a medium bowl, add cornstarch, cocoa, sugar, a pinch of salt then add milk gradually.
\nStep 2 Stir the mixture in a pot over med-high heat, cook until thick, beating it smooth.
\nStep 3 Pour into a pre-baked pie shell and let it cool in fridge for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n
P.S. You can use whipped cream for topping.<\/p>\n
