It says this:

You are hereby condemmed to an early death!

“As a citizen of planet Earth early in the 21st century AD you are hereby condemned to a shortened lifespan, riddled with disease and discomfort, terminated by an early, painful death. The sentence will be carried out by toxic overload and malnutrition. This will be accomplished, not by the reduction of the quantity of food you eat as that would be too easily recognised as a direct attack but rather by means of a massive, prolonged, multi-faceted campaign of unethical food growing and manufacturing, disinformation, propaganda, false data and economic manipulation. This results in:
too few nutrients in your food
artificial additives, toxic pesticides and herbicides in your food, drinks and water
a lifestyle that is not geared towards optimal survival potential for you and the generations to come
many toxic chemicals and electromagnetic radiation in your work, home and general environment leading to toxic overload stress.

All in the name of corporate profit and power.

Signed,

The people who value our profit over your health.”

Well, that might just as well have been our sentence, for we are as surely condemned as that statement proclaims. Even if you can’t read it!

Fortunately for you, there is an out. The way to escape that sentence is to educate yourself and alter your eating habits and lifestyle.

“A society that views food as taste-bud entertainment rather than a basic of well-being was always bound to run into health problems. But with obesity now afflicting 300 million people, and diabetes set to reach similar numbers within two decades, the problems borne of food abuse are emerging as more than a glitch. They amount to a profound loss of direction in our understanding of both food and medicine.” From http://www.foodnavigator.com/Science-Nutrition/Let-food-be-thy-medicine

If you saw the film “The Matrix” you will know what I mean when I say, “I chose the red pill.” If you didn’t, here is an explanation of that statement: http://www.arrod.co.uk/essays/matrix.php

As a result of that choice over the last 10 years I have adventured and explored research data on breakthroughs in nutrition, specifically in relation to health and aging.

You’re Probably Not Getting Enough!

It’s true. You’re probably so busy you do not get a wide enough range of foods in your diet. You are consequently missing out on many nutrients.

On a visit to the doctor about 10 years ago he said to me, “You should eat a broad a variety of food to get as wide a variety of nutrients as possible.” The rationale behind his statement was that was that every healthy food has different micronutrients. (I qualified that by saying healthy food as I am sure some of what is sold as food has close to zero nutritional value whatsoever! That’s my opinion, the rest of what is here is fact.) For instance red meat has carsonine, an anti-aging nutrient. (That’s probably one reason why people who eat less meat live longer than the other two groups of people tested – those who eat lots of meat and those who ate no meat at all.) Different coloured foods have different nutrients, each of which has a beneficial effect on the body.

You May Not Be Absorbing All the Nutrients From What You Do Eat

Food that passes through the digestive tract without being properly processed does not allow the nutrients to be fully absorbed, so provides you with less than optimum nutrition. Improperly digested food can also lead to other problems later on in the digestive tract. There are many reasons why your body does not properly process the food you eat. That’s why I included NuFerm Probiotics in my top of the range bar. This addresses some of them but there are many potential causes for not absorbing nutrients.

The Solution – A Quick Easy Snack to Provide a Wider Variety Of Foods In One Bar Than You Eat All Week!

I just added up the number of different ingredients with which Julie and I prepare our meals each week. Including all vegetables, fruits, grains, protein and spices it comes to 41. The nutrition booster bar is prepared with over 60 different ingredients, only three of which are in 41 with which we make our meals. That means just by adding the Nutrition Booster Bar to my diet I am more than doubling both the number of foods in my diet as well as the nutritional diversity!

For nutritious, filling, healthy snacks that don’t taste like cardboard!

Too few people and companies are promoting optimum nutrition! Most are on about taste. Even nutritionists tell me 95% of their clients are people who want to lose or gain weight rather than people who want to eat optimally for a healthy life. The following quote nicely summarises what this site is about:

“A society that views food as taste-bud entertainment rather than a basic of well-being was always bound to run into health problems. But with obesity now afflicting 300 million people, and diabetes set to reach similar numbers within two decades, the problems borne of food abuse are emerging as more than a glitch. They amount to a profound loss of direction in our understanding of both food and medicine.” From http://www.foodnavigator.com/Science-Nutrition/Let-food-be-thy-medicine

In all my career I’ve never been afraid of swimming against the tide so here goes again! I want to talk to you about putting more and better nutrients in that body of yours!

Now I know that most people won’t eat anything that doesn’t taste decent, so I have tested and tweaked each of my tasty snack recipes with my wife, kids and grandkids to the point where they at least palatable if not delicious. Hence the derivation of the name: Healthy + Delicious = Healthelicious. All my snacks deliver immediate energy to accomplish your daily tasks. They do that without the sweetest poison – cane sugar – and without me adding colourings, flavourings and preservatives.

My food bars additionally deliver broad spectrum nutrition designed to help your body last the distance – be that the day or the lifetime.

The product I wish to obtain from all this is a more aware you. A smarter, brighter, more intelligent, more active, happier you. You cannot be that when you are tired, lethargic, sluggish and undernourished. With better nutrition your body should be able to function better for longer. So my snacks are one of the vehicles I use to help you become more aware.

“My belief is that our bodies are a direct result of our food and thoughts.
What we eat is the raw material from which our body is made.
What we think affects the processing and utilisation of the raw materials.
If we completely understood every function of our body and mind
and understood every function and effect of every food we ate
and we consistently applied that data,
how much less likely would we be to suffer an illness or contract a disease?
My wide reading on the subject discloses much evidence to support that idea.”

Nutrition to power your mission

Imagine you are a space shuttle and your life is a trip into space with your body as your booster rocket.
