Ever since I was a child, I\u2019ve always had a fear of someone under my bed at night. So, I went to a shrink and told him: \u201cI\u2019ve got problems. Every time I go to bed I think there\u2019s somebody under it. I\u2019m scared. I think I\u2019m going crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cJust put yourself in my hands for one year,\u201d said the shrink. \u201cCome talk to me three times a week and we should be able to get rid of those fears.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHow much do you charge?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c$80 dollars per visit,\u201d replied the doctor.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll sleep on it,\u201d I said.<\/p>\n
Six months later the doctor met me on the street and said, \u201cWhy didn\u2019t you come to see me about those fears you were having?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, at $80 bucks a visit, three times a week for a year, is $12,480.00. A bartender cured me for $10.00. I was so happy to have saved all that money that I went and bought me a new pickup truck.\u201d<\/p>\n
With a bit of an attitude he said, \u201cIs that so? And how, may I ask, did a bartender cure you?\u201d<\/p>\n
