\nThe Australian Vaccination-skeptics Network, Inc (AVN) condemns the Australian Government\u2019s calls for censorship of data released by United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) scientist, Dr William Thompson. This data demonstrated a 700% increased risk of autism in children who received the MMR vaccine on time.
\nThey have also stated that a board-certified medical specialist, Dr Suzanne Humphries, now touring Australia with the film, VaxXed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe, should not have been allowed into the country.
\n\u201cWe want the government to start standing with the science, not with outdated policies and corporate pseudo-science,\u201d says Tasha David, AVN President and mother of 6 children injured by vaccination. \u201cWhen Dr Thompson released data showing his own study misled governments worldwide about the safety of MMR vaccine, this should have been a wakeup call to Australian leaders.\u201d
