It is a reminder program to take a break. Why is that important? Because sitting for 6 hours a day takes 10 years off your lifespan. But the way to reduce the destructive effects of it are as simple as just standing up every 10 minutes. So that&#8217;s what I have the timer on BreakTaker set to. 10 minutes. Every 10 minutes when it pops up, so do I. I just stand at my desk and do a stretch up or a neck stretch then sit down and resume work. Here&#8217;s the link to download it.
