Talk about a serious missed opportunity.<br \/>\nEnergy and sugars were already in the labeling so that leaves three new markers of which two are serious misdirectors.<br \/>\nSaturated fats are good for you, not bad. Trans fats are bad.<br \/>\nThe latest research shows salt is not the villain it was made out to be.<br \/>\nWhat about listing what percentage of each of 24 key nutrients are in a product and with what other products that product should ieally be consumed to provide an appropriate percentage of all the nutrients a body needs?<br \/>\nNow THAT would be a seriously educational label!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A kiwi mate wrote: We have a 5 star labelling regime introduced in NZ.
