This webinar will change the way you eat and the way you live

Dr Terry Wahls has an amazing success story – she recovered from MS.
How she did it is revealed in this video:

And I just received this from her today:
Dear Friends,
Did you know…
25% of American adults suffer from mental illness.
1 in 3 seniors in the United States die of dementia.
1 in 50 children in the US are born with autism.
1 million Americans suffer from Parkinson’s and 400,000 have MS.
60% of the American population is obese or overweight. 25 million have diabetes, 26 million have heart disease, 25 million have diagnosed autoimmune disorders . . .
Did you realize, that the majority of Americans are walking around with nutrient deficiencies and little to no knowledge about why they might be making themselves sick?
There is a direct connection between nutritional deficiencies and disease, yet conventional medicine has us turning to pharmaceuticals to treat symptoms, rather than taking a step back and treating the core problem.
Leanne Ely of SavingDinner.com and I, Dr. Terry Wahls, are back, doing another life-altering webinar on Tuesday evening, and I’m going to share the details about my brand new book, The Wahls Protocol: How I Beat Progressive MS Using Paleo Principles and Functional Medicine.

Junk Versus Quality

Junk Versus Quality
It takes more to produce quality than it does to produce junk.
Are you producing a quality life or a junk one?
Put the extra effort in.
It is worth it.

Okra Kills 72% of Breast Cancer Cells & Slows Growth in Vitro

Okra
A newly discovered lectin in common okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) was shown to kill 72% of human breast cancer cells (MCF7) in vitro, mostly by inducing programmed cell death (apoptosis). The okra extract was also shown to slow the growth of breast cancer cells by 63%. It’s interesting that we are still discovering new anti-cancer compounds in common foods we eat on a regular basis.
The research on okra for preventing cancer is just starting up, however another recent study has shown that okra pectin is active against highly metastatic melanoma cells (B16F10), reducing their proliferation, inducing cell cycle arrest and programmed cell death (apoptosis).
In another study, the “Southern” eating pattern, characterized by eating okra, grits, cornbread, beans, rice and sweet potatoes, was shown to reduce the risk of prostate cancer by 40% in a group of American men, but interestingly a diet richer in fruit & vegetables did not reduce risk in that group.
Bottom line: okra is a healthy food which is already widely consumed, and now latest research tells us it may give protection from at least three different cancers. More research is needed to confirm this in humans but in the meantime, it may be a good choice to add okra to your regular diet, which should already contain a wide variety of vegetables – and plenty of them.

Dr Buttar Talking In Chicago on Autism

I just received this and wanted to share it with you in case you know someone caring for someone with autism…
I’m writing to you today to make an important announcement. On May 21-May 25, 2014, Dr. Buttar will be presenting at the Autism One conference in Chicago, IL. This conference promises to be the most significant Autism Conference of the last two decades. Dr. Buttar will present his newest additions to this protocol as well as present his most recent data never publicly shared previously.
If you are a doctor interested in dramatically improving your patient outcomes, register for the Physician Workshop on Thursday, May 22, 2014. To learn why you must attend, watch the Webinar With Dr. Gabriel’s Patients to see the dramatic results other doctor’s have achieved using Dr. Buttar’s protocol.
If you are a parent of a child with autism, you should seriously consider attending the Parent Workshop on Sunday, May 25, 2014. To learn why you should attend, listen to the Radio Interview with Dr. Buttar and Robert Scott Bell.
Regardless of your ability to attend the Autism One conference, you will find the above information to be truly beneficial, especially the Prevention or Poison Webinar held with 2 other highly prominent physicians explaining one of the biggest contributing causes of autism.
As of the end of 2013, Dr. Buttar’s protocol has been used by over 1500 physicians to treat well over 30,000 children world wide. Dr. Buttar himself has treated almost 1,900 children from over 80 different countries over the last 17 years. For more information and to register for either of these two life changing workshops, click here.
If you do find this information to be as beneficial as thousands of others throughout the world have found it to be, all we ask is that you “pay it forward” and pass this on to someone whose life you may dramatically change.
See you at the Autism One Conference in Chicago, May 21-25, 2014.
