Best Comeback Line Ever?

If you ever testify in court, you might wish to be as sharp as this policeman. 🙂
He was being cross-examined by a defense attorney during a felony trial. The lawyer was trying to undermine the police officer’s credibility…
Q: ‘Officer — did you see my client fleeing the scene?’
A: ‘No sir. But I subsequently observed a person matching the description of the offender, running several blocks away.’
Q: ‘Officer, who provided this description?’
A: ‘The officer who responded to the scene.’
Q: ‘A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called offender. Do you trust your fellow officers?’
A: ‘Yes, sir. With my life.’
Q: ‘With your life? Let me ask you this then officer. Do you have a room where you change your clothes in preparation for your daily duties?’
A: ‘Yes sir, we do!’
Q: ‘And do you have a locker in the room?’
A: ‘Yes, sir, I do.’
Q: ‘And do you have a lock on your locker?’
A: ‘Yes, sir.’
Q: ‘Now, why is it, officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your life, you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you share with these same officers?’
A: ‘You see, sir, we share the building with the court complex, and sometimes lawyers have been known to walk through that room.’
The courtroom EXPLODED with laughter, and a prompt recess was called. The officer on the stand has been nominated for this year’s ‘Best Comeback’ line — and we think he’ll win.Cop Testimony

Can HP Survive the Post-PC Revolution?

On November 20, 2012, Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced its second quarterly write-down of over $8 billion dollars in a row. That in itself is cause for alarm, but the fact that HP blamed the write-downs on two of its largest recent acquisitions means the company could be flailing to find a foothold in a world where PCs and printers are quickly becoming niche products.

Vaccination\Autism Correlation Table

I received a version of the chart below that did not have Australian or Kiwi figures on it so I went scavenging around the internet and came up with some additional data to add to it. I could not fill all the boxes but you get the picture.
What would happen if we couldn’t get all our scheduled vaccinations, and only got about a dozen vaccines like JAPAN, DENMARK, NORWAY, SWEDEN, FINLAND, or ICELAND?

More on "SmartMeters"

Austrian Medical Association Calls for Smart Meter Halt (Jan. 2012)

Utility companies claim that wireless ‘smart’ meters emit a fraction of radiation compared to other common wireless devices. This is a blatant lie, as anyone with an analyzer can determine for themselves. WATCH a San Francisco resident measure the radiation from a smart meter: http://stopsmartmeters.org/2011/08/22/smart-meters-more-radiation-than-a-cell-tower/

WATCH another measurement of a standard smart meter on a home: “the meter registered a maximum pulse of 70,000 uW/m2 of microwave radiation. I was told by SDGE that the signal is only sent several times a day but is apparent that the radiation is broadcast every couple of minutes. This meter is the cause of the spikes of radiation in my child’s bedroom that she had been exposed to for 7 months before I made the connection between headaches, body pain, and interrupted sleep patterns causing daytime fatigue. After moving my family to the opposite end of the house away from the radiation her health issues subsided. Anecdotal? Yes. Are the symptoms still an issue? Not since a few weeks after she was moved.”
