Monsanto's Sealed Documents Reveal the Truth behind Roundup's Toxicological Dangers

Radical Scientific Denialism
The year 2015 hasn’t been kind to Monsanto. In March, the World Health Organization declared that the company’s flagship product, its herbicide glyphosate or Roundup, is a probable human carcinogen. Increasingly, national health ministries are taking a hard second look at glyphosate’s health and environmental dangers and efforts are underway to ban the herbicide. To protect its citizens, last year the Netherlands, Bermuda and Sri Lanka have either banned or imposed strict limits on Roundup. Last June, France banned its use in gardens. Brazil, Germany and Argentina are considering legislative bans. And this month, California’s environmental protection agency launched plans to label Roundup as a carcinogen

Optimize Your Turmeric

Optimize Your Turmeric
Many people ask why I have as many ingredients in my bars and powders as I do. It’s because I have done my homework. I have learned that the beneficial effects of combining different foods is not fully researched. For instance, last week I learned that the power of turmeric was increases 39 fold by eating it with phospholipids (think fats in eggs and meats). Many know that the curcumin found in Turmeric have potent anti-cancer/anti-inflammatory properties. My top bars and powders have Turmeric, egg yolk powder, pepper and ginger as four of their ingredients.

Lessons From The Farmyard

This month’s events in Syria and Europe only serve to remind us t hat when one country takes it on itself to destabilise another, like the US has in Syria, EVERYONE loses.
There was a farmer who grew excellent quality corn. Every year he won the award for the best grown corn. One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew it. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors.
“How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?” the reporter asked.
“Why sir,” said the farmer, “Didn’t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn.”
So is with our lives… Those who want to live meaningfully and well must help enrich the lives of others, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others find happiness, for the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all…
-Call it power of collectivity…
-Call it a principle of success…
-Call it a law of life.
The fact is, none of us truly wins, until we all win!!

No Fracking Under My Home

No Fracking Under My Home
In the UK, the ASA just banned a Greenpeace anti-fracking ad!
Here are the facts:
A few months ago we published a newspaper ad stating: “Experts agree – [fracking] won’t cut our energy bills.”
The ASA asked for evidence to back up the claim — so we submitted statements from 22 experts and commentators including leading academics, the energy secretary Ed Davey, and even quotes from fracking firm Cuadrilla.
This wasn’t enough for the ASA and they still said the ad was misleading. But the only evidence they could provide to back that up?… A quote from the prime minister.
Oh and one other thing… the chair of the ASA, Lord Chris Smith, happens to be the head of the Task Force on Shale Gas (a group funded by the fracking industry).
Totally unbiased, eh?

HIV Vaccine Researcher Gets 57 Months in Prison for Fraud

Dr Han
Dr Han was sentenced to 57 months in prison for systematically falsifying data for several years to make an experimental HIV vaccine look effective when, in fact, it was not. His attorney argued that his crime did not necessarily warrant time behind bars, but the Department of Justice (DOJ) countered that a prison sentence would warn others that “the manipulation of data to receive grant funds is unacceptable, and if caught, they will be punished.”
