U.N. admission that Syrian rebels used chemical weapons exposes Obama's lies

A member of the U.N. Commission investigating war crimes in Syria, the Swiss former war crimes prosecutor Carla Del Ponte, has contradicted the British-Obama war propaganda against Syria. Del Ponte revealed to Swiss television on 5 May that the Commission has evidence that chemical weapons were used in Syria, but by the Western-backed rebels, not by the Assad government.
Del Ponte’s admission has thrown the U.N. and Washington into political turmoil, and prompted frantic diplomatic attempts by the White House to discredit her and water down the significance of her admission. The extreme reaction reflects the level of determination and advanced planning by Obama and the rejoined “Suez coalition” of Britain, France and Israel to provoke a global showdown with Russia and China by launching proxy wars against Syria and Iran. The Obama administration’s present harping about Assad crossing a “red line” by using sarin gas—now publicly contradicted but doubtless known to be false all along—is out of the same playbook as his despised predecessor George W. Bush’s criminal war on Iraq based on a similar lie.
Bush’s Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz was quoted in the 30 May 2003 USA Today, from the transcript of an interview he gave to Vanity Fair magazine, admitting just how cynically they pushed the WMD deception to achieve the Iraq war: “The truth is that for reasons that have a lot to do with the U.S. government bureaucracy, we settled on the one issue that everyone could agree on, which was weapons of mass destruction as the core reason,” Wolfowitz said.
Obama’s WMD lie is a cover for the impeachable offense of arming al-Qaeda-linked jihadists, both in Libya, who murdered the U.S. ambassador last September, and in Syria, to spearhead his British-directed regime change agenda.
Australia, which is also up to its eyeballs supporting the rebels against Assad, faces a moral choice: do we continue to back the side of al-Qaeda-linked jihadists who use WMDs, or do we walk back from the brink of world war?
