Not Able to Buy Iodine in UK

I responded to a friend request on one of my social media sites. She replied:
“Hullo Tom,
Thank you for your message. I will look into your interesting website and blog tomorrow, I am off to bed now, but I thought to tell you about something which just amazes me, you cannot buy iodine in the UK any more!?! All of a sudden iodine can only be bought by someone who is licensed to buy it!”
Wow! The insanity continues to accelerate!
